The photos you posted in December look quite a bit better than what Sideshow has posted to their site. Nice.

Yes, the shots at Sideshow are the proto. I think the figure did improve after those were taken.

Been following this thread for a while and wish I was a bigger McQueen fan, this looks great.

^^^^^ Agreed. A most excellent figure with unique bits. He came out damn near perfect. The sculpt could be something that any of the big hitters today's are putting out. And look at the worn look of that jacket! Why couldn't Sideshow Plissken jacket look like that?

Anyway, congrats to anyone getting this.

Yeah us Brits can pick up some great deals at the moment from the rest of Europe due to the € becoming the new Lira.
Speaking of Lira I got this fig from an ebay seller I never used before in Italy (toys_heroes) I hope everything goes ok with this.
Good job we kept sterling.

The collar looks much better, and the head looks tweaked. This is a fantastic looking figure. I was originally just interested in bashing a Bullitt, but I may go with Hilts as a whole now.

Even the name tag is better than the prototype. It's smaller and stuck onto the jacket. Not that large velco piece. You are all going to love this figure. Joints are very tight.

Cancelled both Hot Toys Shadow Trooper and IM Hot Rod, and SS applied my NRD from HRod to this figure...

In another Star Ace note, my Harry Potter WL converted as well

For the price Star Ace is WAY better value for money (especially with our Canadian $ tanking it of late)
