Can the police help at all on this? May I ask how much he ripped you off for?

ONEYE, I know you have his contact information and address. If you have a record of your communications, you may want to consider seeing what your options are in regards to reporting mail fraud or filing for a small claims case. There may be some recourse for you there.

Oneye: I bought ths guy i don't know an expensive product and sent it to him because he said he'd pay me, now he won't pay me for it.

Police: Please hold. *in background* (hey Joe, come listen to what this ******* did, he bought a stranger something and trusted him to give him the money) :lol

Its a civil matter now. Cops will just laugh and tell you to take him to court.

I think a small claims case would be a good recourse, as long as he has kept the records of their communication and can show that the buyer made an agreement to pay.

ONEYE, you can also report this guy for mail fraud here: https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/mailfraudcomplaint.aspx

There's a category for "Merchandise or Service" and "Failure to Pay".

The Postal Service take this kind of thing seriously. Keep your records. Now make him pound sand.

Sorry to hear this one eye.

I learned the hard way as well trusting an eBay buyer who I didn't know to pay me after I sent the item. He then claimed the figure never arrived....

NEVER again ! But just remember, your conscious is clean and all those *******s out there will pay if you hunt them down and torture them.

:lecture:lecture:lecture Normally it'd be a case to take to small claims court, but the fact that he mailed it ups the anny to a federal offense of Mail Fraud.

Did he receive package...Maybe call ups and tell them to stop delivery.

Wow.

I'm not insulting anyone specifically but if these events are true...then perhaps one shouldn't use the internet.

What can I say, I'm as a dumb and useless as a used douche bag.

Don't compare yourself with StevenRogers84. :lol

You tried to be nice and got screwed. Ever wonder why some people don't help other people out? Because of crap like this. It sucks.. especially when good people actually need help and don't get it since everyone is so jaded from being screwed over in the past.
