Oh, it definitely does "rock da house"! Got mine yesterday from Adam, drove straight home and unpacked it immediately. Love that there are batteries already provided for the base so I didn't have to scramble around hoping I actually HAD batteries on hand! Got the cape on with no problems (and what IS that material? Not a single wrinkle! I need an entire wardrobe made out of that stuff!), got the batteries in, got the figure on the base, got the saber in Darth's hands, and VOILA! This is an incredible figure! I knew it looked good from all the pics posted, but truly it was even more stunning than I imagined! Can't wait for my husband to see it tomorrow when he gets home from a business trip. I've got Vader in our computer room (the current depository of all things that are "Star Wars collectibles"). Tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to turn Vader on, and tell my husband to walk into the computer room without turning on the lights. Unfortunately it won't be very dark, but it's the best I can do! 
Got mine today and all I can say is WOW!!! He is so much more awesome in person than in pictures that I can't even put it into words. For all of the BS about screen accuracy, helmet size, etc. all I can say is that once you have it in hand all of that goes completely out the window. If you're a serious Vader collector like I am, this is THE one thing that must be in your collection. Well done, Sideshow, well done.
