Love that they included the 'pursed lips' pose ...quite distinct to the Hulkster!
That bandana needs some work and the top of the head is a little too perfect for Hulk.

let me know what you like/dislike about this figure and i'll pass on the message to them.

They cheaped out in the boots which is quite frustrating. You can always switch out parts like wristbands if you dont line them. You can also tighten a bandana by hand, glue it in position or comission someone to do a better one, but the boots are tough to replace. The pattern is all wrong and a cheap hybrid. Either put red flames on yellow boots or black flames and "HOGAN". Also I would have wished to get some boots with real laces etc and not just cheap looking plastic ones.
Seriously, the boots will be a bigger issue than the bandana in the end. They are essential and a total fail.

Edit: check out these pics and you get a idea what I mean. Bandana looks fixable. Boots however are crap. Cheap material, cheap pattern, no posing abillity.

Sure thing. Noted about the boots. I'll see if they have anything to add to that. Since its prototype and they may not be concentrating in that area as of now. Maybe they will go the same way as Mike Tyson and offer leather boots and then sculpted boots. Will see what I can find. Thanks for your input.

Youre welcome! I have to thank you for going there and forwarding my thoughts! :duff

On second watch, the pattern might not bee that wrong, but either too small or incomplete. Maybe wrong in colour. I honestly dont know. The botts just look too clean. The main problem with them is that they are not flexible in any way which will make most of the poses look silly.

Btw: he does also feel a little light on accessoires, nice to have 4(!) shirts but you can always display just one. If the would add a Hulkamania base or a "ringpost" base similar to Jakks Unmatched Fury Hogan, I would be totally amazed by the set.

Would it be possible to ask how to get our habds on the wonderful signed art print?

Ps: check out the feet position on the Unmatched Fury Hogan pic posted above. This wouldnt be possible to achieve with static boots but that is THE pose most people are going for...

Looks great. I wasn't going to pick this up, but I might do so just in case a genuine '80s styled version isn't forthcoming. Gotta have him wearing a bandana like this:

Not a problem. Im sure they will ask me about opinions on this figure when I see them. As for now, I'll just see how much more work they need to do on the boots, I cant see why they wont be flexible as there should be an ankle joint in there.

As for accessories, lets see. I gave them a list of things last time I spoken to them. Perhaps they wanted to spread them out for further figures in the line. One of the last requests I gave last time was for multiple shirts, which I think they have taken care of. As for ringside platform or chairs and buckets, those add costs and probs arent important as getting the body and headsculpt correct first.

Those Art prints were given out last year during the preorder for mike tyson. I could ask them would there be anymore art prints to give away or for sale on their site. Would you guys like that?

I would kill for an artprint signed by Hogan and definitly preorder anytime.

Boots: sorry, must be my relative bad English. What I ment with "static" is not that they have no ankle joint. In fact I am certain that they do have an ankle joint. However it is completly useless if the boot itself is not flexible. If the legs are pushed apart the soles still need to touch the bottom. Check one of the oics. I have posted above where the actual figure is pictured with rip away shirt. Because of the boots being not flexible the soles cannot touch ground in that specific pose. This is why HT has made 2-piece boots for characters like Thor and Batman. If you want to, I can post some reference pics tonight to show what I mean. :)

Really still only wanting an 80's hogan. This looks great though, just not for me. I feel like we've seen the figure in 1 or 2 poses, just different angles every time we see it. Id really like to see more of the posing capabilities

What about a championship belt for an accessory?

They probably couldn't get one due to licensing rights with WWF/WWE. IIRC, Mike Tyson comes with a belt but I'm not sure how accurate to the "real" belts he won.

Thats why I really dont want any kind of championship belt eat up the budget. This version really doesnt need any title anyway. Yet if there is the demand we would be served in the custom section perfectly, I think.

I know a lot of you guys want the 80's hogan and I definitely made sure they were aware of this during my last meet. For now we know they are releasing this so I think it's in their best interest to make this the best as possible so they can make a great sale from this and then perhaps lead onto the request for a younger hogan. They are great wrestling fans. I've seen their toy collection. Haha they are passionate about each figure they make.

As for belts. Those were mentioned to them as well and they told me they are trying to work something out on that side. Fingers cross something comes out of that but if they can't produce them here. Maybe sometime down the road if this product is a success.

The Dennis Rodman figure is a work of art with a level of detail in the musculature of his torso, arms and especially his legs and feet. As a big fan of Hulk Hogan I can only dream he is sculpted as well as the Dennis Rodman figure. Can we expect the Hulkster to receive the same attention? Thanks for taking our questions.
