Ask if it's possible to make figures of Arnold Schwarzenegger in his bodybuilding days.
More wrestling figures for sure. Rabid fan base and an untapped market. We listed some great candidates a few pages back.
The only classic boxer I would buy is Ali. Tyson and ali is it for me. There are plenty who diasagree.
I think baseball and football are another untapped market. Not my cup of tea but again, another untapped market. As for nba the legends list that I think would be successful is huge. I'm sure there's a list somewhere around here.
Finally, Star Trek is is desperate need of good high end figures. HT basically said they'll never do them. The best trek figures are from playmates and look and are cheap by today's standards. Trek has a massive, rabid base. They market everything from posters to key chains. The fact that they're no quality 1/6 fits in this day and age is a sin. And frankly I think it's someone who doesn't know about 1/6 or still thinks it's kid thing.
My two (or three) cents.
Classic Hogan looks (AWA, WWF), and any other classic wrestlers are what I am most interested in. Keeping in mind people are into Hogan, and Tyson for that matter, b/c of their '80s nostalgia, going after other '80s athletes and actors could also be a good idea. Mr. T, Roddy Piper, Macho Man, Chuck Norris, Carl Weathers, Jesse Ventura, Bruce Campbell, Charles Bronson, Wayne Gretsky, Bo Jackson, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Charles Barkley, Dr. J, Isaiah Thomas, Karl Malone and John Stockton (who Enterbay will never get around to I reckon). Then maybe other '90s guys like Van Damme (who has been allowing his likeness for figures recently) and Steven Seagal. Presumably any of these could be licensed without having to get specific film, sport, or TV show rights, in looks that are pretty similar to those they are known for in pop culture lore.Happy New Years every Hulk and Wrestling fans.
Just got in touch with Storm CEO and he invited me to chat with him next week. I'm so looking forward to seeing him and just laugh about everything and anything.
Anyhows, before then he would really like to hear about everything that you guys have. Opinions and comments. Good and bad, the lot. Any information is always useful no matter what. Last time I asked in here, many of you guys have already voiced out some good and valid points and I still remember them too.
This time though, I'll be sure to pass them all to him face to face. I'll be bringing my pen and paper to jot down any comments from him and will let you guys know as well. This goes the same for the Tyson figure.
He really appreciates this and hopefully he can express all of this through their products. So for now, I'll let you guys back to drinking and we shall chat again once you all sober. hahaha take it easy everyone.

Since you're soliciting opinions, music is another glaring vacancy. Jagger and Richards, daltry and Townsend, Morrison, Roth and Eddie van Halen, Bruce Springsteen, axel and slash. I know more than one guy who'd buy a Bruce Dickinson in a heartbeat. I'd love a 1970 James brown.
Championship belt, multiple hulkamania shirts, maybe a sculpt with a headband. Maybe a bd, sweaty head. Gold crucifix. But the belt is key. Or some belt.
Happy New Years every Hulk and Wrestling fans.

Wow, awesome. Here's my comments:
On Hogan:
Would love an 80's/early 90's era Hulk or an NWO Hulk (would buy both). I don't think the interest in a modern Hulk would be as strong so I hope they don't go that route. I would not buy a modern version of Hulk.
Also, I hope they make other 1/6 wrestlers. There's definitely a market out there for them. I think Bret Hart would be someone to reach out to as he has his own product line independent of the WWE. Would love to see the Legion of Doom and Ric Flair as well, with the robe and shoulder pads visually they would be really appealing to alot of collectors.
Wrestling fans are quite rabid and would eat these figures up if marketed correctly.
On Tyson:
The figure is perfect, I just hope ordering him will be easy. I was so frustrated the last time I tried to order something from them. You had to email them to preorder and I never received a response, went to the facebook page and many people were complaining about this. Judging by the website it looks like they have a more professional ordering system now but the scars remain from my first experience with them.

Hey tbay,
Thanks for the comments on these two figures. Will def bring them all up in front of them.
I agree about the Hogan figure, looks like everyone wants the 80's ver no matter what. lol
Its good to share your past experience as well, it seems they noticed their errors and try to go with an updated webstore ordering system. Lets hope this makes a big improvement. Although fairly new, I can still forsee issues with customer service or any communications channel. Their English isnt at that level as of now. However, will def let them know this so they can improve better relations with customers.
Hopefully they will listen and make improvements. Thanks again dude.
Happy New Years every Hulk and Wrestling fans.

I can't wait to hear what he has to say about our comments, this is very exciting! Thanks for doing this!
Happy New Year! Kudos on the meet, it sounds exciting! I'd just like the CEO to know that Storm is on the right track and that the vast majority of us care about these characters, personalities, etc. IN THEIR PRIMES!
What they looked like, how they dressed, so that means era-appropriate outfits and accessories, etc.
Can't wait to hear how it turns out!
