Hey All, just an update about the Exclusive figures I had. (If you had followed the thread closely, you could count how many I had in total. lol)

Just wanted to say big thanks to everyone that took an interest and it was so nice to know how many boxing fans there are in here.
Currently I am down to two sets, both are for myself to keep because I wanted two bodies. However that would mean so many extras leftover in the spare set. So for now, I will open one set and then leave the other as is because maybe one day down the road I may let him go.

As for the other sets, I also want to say thank you for those that took a chance on me and had faith in obtaining them without any hesitation. I want to say I respect you and will do the best to complete the process till the end. Your privacy is important and I will treat each one of you with care.

I hope when you get the item, you will be excited and pleased with the results. I know I cant wait either.

So for now, there is no need to ask if I have any sets left. Sorry guys. In the future if I do let my spare one go, I will post it in here first.

One more thing, I have let Storm know about your interests in their work and this figure, and they have acknowledge everything that have been mentioned to them. Hopefully they will isten with care and meet the needs of boxing fans in here. Post more if I hear more from them.

I been watching a few of Tyson's old fights on U tube, mostly when he was at his best during the 80s, man he ripped up and spat out so many chumps. I still think a Lewis in his prime would of beaten Tyson in his prime though. Tyson was a bit 1 dimensional, Lewis could mix it up a bit more and I think Lewis would of made his jab work to keep Tyson at a safe distance.
Also Lewis was pretty much the Undisputed heavyweight champ in an era of great fighters, the 1990s.

Tyson was maybe the better fighter but Lewis was the better boxer imo.

Never thought we would be getting pugilists in 1/6 form. Thanks a lot for getting the word back to them!

Which is more reason to support them, we don't always need to go to people that constantly release the same thing, especially when we are interested in Cult Icons or Legends.

More than enough Bruce Lee figures out there, I think we've already seen several from enterbay, hot toys, and now Blitzway is doing highend statues of him.

I would love to see Storm Toys possibly create some television icons such as Tony Soprano and Walter White.

But right now, boxing takes precedence over everything for me, so Ali and Frazier hopefully coming soon is perfect for me.

None of the bruce lee out there can even be considered good imo. Arnie kim does good work but big statue doesn't do it for me.

I have to disagree, Tyson was more than just a one dimensional fighter, he would have been bobbing and weaving past Lewis' jab and countering most of his shots.

An out of shape Tyson wobbled Lewis, Kid Dynamite would have walked through him in my opinion.

I also hate how the ref in their fight allowed Lewis to hold after every punch he would throw and lean on Tyson to wear him out, completely against the rules.

I thought the smiling sculpt he did for Hot Toys was pretty spot on.

Have to agree, as seemingly every fighter Tyson faced had a height/reach advantage and tried to employ a plan of using their jab to keep Mike away. As we all know, that didn't pan out. :lol

I'm sorry but if you want a fighting Bruce he wouldn't be smiling :lol it is a good sculpt though.

You're right. But i wouldn't mind storm takes a shot at it with their seamless joints :clap

True, but at least there's a great Bruce on the market, I would take an Ali figure with a fish face expression if I had to.

Wouldn't mind seeing that myself after seeing how good Tyson came out.

Yeah but how many top class fighters did Iron Mike take down in his prime, I know you can only beat who is put up against you but still.

Anyway in the heavyweight division its sometimes as simple as whichever man lands a real bomb first, Tyson could easily knock down Lewis & vice Versa as both men were so phenomenally powerful. & both had power punches in their repertoire.

Tyson's resume will always be his biggest flaw, but we never really got to see a prime Tyson. At his very best he was 18/19 years old, imagine a focused 25 year old Tyson that didn't go to prison and actually took care of his body, that would be a scary sight. I don't think Tyson would have bested every heavyweight but nothing about Lennox Lewis' style makes me think he would have a chance against a prime Mike Tyson. But you're right in boxing anyone can land a perfect punch, I just happen to think Tyson would have been more likely to land that punch.

Tyson in his prime out jabbed bigger opponents. Tyson's true potential was never reached and his prime was cut short with arrogance and ignorance. But he had the deadliest combination of speed and power ever seen in boxing. I honestly think he would have knocked Lewis out in his prime.

And I'd love to see an Ali figure next. 2 versions I'd personally love to see, 1- young Cassius Clay who knocked out Sonny Liston and 2- an older Muhammad Ali who rope a doped Big George Foreman.

As for accessories, I don't need much, gloves, trunks a robe and title belts. As for Tyson, black trunks, black shoes, no socks and a towel!!

Tyson always had a tough time with the real big guys that were strong. Those guys that could grab on and hold him had the most success surviving. The speed and power of Tyson was unmatched, so these 6'5'' fighters would hold on for dear life :lol I personally think if they fought in their younger days, then Tyson comes out on top. However, when they did fight, there was no doubt that Lewis was the better fighter. Lewis actually admitted at the end of their fight that Tyson in the younger years was the man. Watch the 42 minute mark with their after fight interview.

Going forward, if we could influence Storm Collectables what route should they go next for their "Legends" line? I want to drop dream figures like Jackie Chan, who is recognizable as a icon and action star. But we should keep in mind that it shouldn't be a dream figure like the one I just listed but realistic in something that would bring sales to Storm Collectables and keep them in business then maybe move on to Niche actors/icons.

A Jackie Chan figure from his classic movies like Project A and Police Story would be instant buy for me.

Anyone heard of Deontay Wilder? has had 32 fights 32 Knock outs, no fight has past 4 rounds, remind you of someone??? only difference is this guy is 6 foot 6, but his Kos and Tkos no more than 4 rounds, and style reminds me of a young Tyson

I can't stand Lennox Lewis. I would have loved to have seen them both fight in their prime. Tyson would have beat him IMO--he was always fighting taller fighters and Lennox didn't jab so much as hold his hand in front of his opponents faces.

I started losing interest in heavyweight boxing when Lewis was champ. Then the big Russians came along and I really lost interest :lol I think Tyson would have definitely KO'd Lewis within 3 rounds had they fought in the 80's. Probably would have been a first round knockout.

When i watched a Mike Tyson fight , he instilled fear in me for his opponent!:lol Thank Goodness for Youtube. I Can relive Mike's Glory Days! 2 Tyson figures is a must for 2 alternate displays.:yess:
