I don't like these figures.

Well, i should clarify. I ONLY like these figures. Which is not a bad thing. It's not a bad thing if the thing cost 30 bucks. Which it should. I'm not the kind of person to balk at prices but I'm sorry if a 6 inch figure costs 75 bucks I expect something special. Not the same quality an amount of accessories that SOTA gave me over 10 years ago for Street fighters.

and for 75 bucks I should be getting something special and not something with these issues:

1) Inaccurate colors on Sub Zero
2) Crazy terrible proportions - pea sized head and gorilla arms
3) ugly as hell elbow joints
4) limbs that pop out
5) Articulation that is useless... like the neck thing, it doesn't really work

The good? Well having half decent classic mortal kombat figures for what is actually the first time in history is a start. The parts they come with.

Reasonable points, although I disagree regarding proportions and articulation. For the record, these shouldn't cost you $75, unless you're buying from unofficial resellers. And if that's the case, I'm wondering why you're surprised that a figure which distributors price at $45 isn't worth $75.

According to the reviews I've seen and prices in the current market, these are well justified at $50.

But yeah the proportions are clearly off, it's not a deal breaker for me though.

Elbow joints are fine, limbs that pop out are also good, imports are usually done that way to prevent breakage, as long as they don't pop off on their own like mafex and are firm in place, then it's good, the neck articulation is most certainly not useless, that much is clear even just by seeing reviews.

Scorpion re-release can't come soon enough.

Looking back at Sota, they were godsent and a steal at the time, but it's no indicator nor fit for a comparison for many obvious reasons.

Green is too dark. But overall I really like it. Nice touch with the effect of the start of him throwing that energy ball thing... or was it supposed to be acid? Haven't played MKII in quite some time.

Nice, Reptile is my favorite MK character. Will consider this. Wish it was 1/6.

Man, MKII Reptile is still my fav char in the entire franchise...
Figure looks fine but I just don't like SC's cartoony interpratations.
Realistic look is what made original trilogy stand out so these hypertrophic proportions just don't work.

I recently got the Scorpion figure and it's very nice. In hand they don't look as bulky, but they are a bit more muscular than the in game graphics.

However, I would say they are closer in size to the MK 3 instruction book character art/promotional art.

I'm really hoping that Storm makes a Liu Kang from MK3, as well as Raiden and Johnny Cage.

It will probably look like the book art

MK3 was the first MK game I actually owned (was playin' MK/MKII at my friend's and arcades).
