I'm still getting one.

I cancelled the other four figs but I'll pick them up down the road later.

To save on shipping (here to Canada) I get SS to combine my order whenever possible and I got an e-mail today saying that the Street Clubber was being sent with the 12" Leia Boussh and the Legacy Moore Bond-- so I'd say he'll be going out within the next two weeks.

I kept my order with Sideshow. I don't think the price drop will save me that much down the line. At $157 shipped (which shipped yesterday I believe), I doubt eBay sellers are willing to take a big hit on that price--and at worse it may slide 20 bucks or so. But there are still people dropping $150 plus shipping from Hong Kong for him--at least I'm not one of those schmucks.

So does anyone recommend a nice pair of 1/6 overalls? I'm ready to bash this mamma-jamma into a Sgt. Bosco "Bad Attitude" Baracus!

LET THE BASHING BEGIN!!! This vest is a good start--I don't think there are 1/6 scale overalls--I checked all the usual spots. But this will work:

Got my shipping notice. Grew up with Mr. T and his outrageous gold chains... something very 80's about it. Anyway, 125 pieces is not going to stay down for long. All the other 750 piece exclusives took a long time to sell out but wound up climbing the price charts after they were sold out. Nevertheless, he is so iconic for my teenage years, though not a big fan of the A-team.

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:lol:lol:rotfl:lol:rotfl:rotfl

when my girlfriend gets wordy with some story she is telling me I tell her "I don't have time for this Jibba Jabba, get to the point"....I never thought about where it came from, I forgot it was Mr. T....ha, ha!!!!

Re: Street Clubber lang - sideshow 500 pieces

Hmmm, seems the title of this thread needs to change, now they have him listed as 500:
Street Clubber 2nd Chance

Maybe he wasn't too popular over on Blister so they sent more to Sideshow? Although, I thought there were only supposed to be 500 total???

And its a 2 piece limit?

I'd think for $150, only the most hardcore Rocky fans or Mr. T fans would want this figure. Maybe a 500 piece edition size is too high? I mean it is a Mr. T figure with earrings and a man purse.

I have him, and I'm very pleased with this figure. One of the best dressed and finished figures in my collection. The cloths are a dream. As for the ES, I still belive it's 500 in total, of which a 125 pieces were available through Sideshow. I don't know for sure, but Sideshow would not lie to us, would they? WOULD THEY? Nooo, I don't think so.
He's $50 too much.
I'd like to agree with that, to a certain extent anyway. Sideshow often overcharges for licenced products. Look at the Medicom Clonetrooper and the Sandtrooper. I still wonder why these figures had to be $150, while SWS had the Medicom Stormtrooper for around $120 (I belive). That's a, $30 extra into Sideshow's "pure profit" basket.

i pity the fool that doesn't buy this!

I cancelled mine and I agree with Evilface that he's overpriced. Should have just released him with the other figures at the same pricepoint. I'm not really surprised that he's on Second Chance, in fact, I predicted this would happen. Would love to use my $75 gift card on him but Sideshow only lets you buy select items that nobody wants. How uncool is that?

Initially I was pretty sure the order page said 125, but now it say 500. I could be wrong, but I thought that Sideshow usually announces the number they are selling (ala today's Maul figure) not the total edition size from other companies.

Not usually the case. They are cheaper than alot of other places. Those that are cheaper, are getting them from Sideshow.

The Lang figure is overpriced, but that may be because HT was overpricing it as well.

Just curious, is there a website that actually has the confirmed production numbers of Hot Toys figures released? I know the Sideshow stuff has confirmed numbers on their website, what about Hot Toys?

Exactly why I'm not getting one. I'd love to have him, but I'll wait for the regular Clubber Lang and save the $50 for something else. Besides, I'll need the money soon for the Endo which is a must have.
