No. You were trying to use the word waste spelled W A S T E. You said waist which was supposed to be spelled W A S T E. Misspelling of the word waste which is the word you are trying to use. It isn't about using the wrong word in the sentence, it is about spelling the word you wanted to say wrong.
Anyway, it doesn't matter, you can argue it both ways. The bottom line is, you can't type for ^^^^ and you are a dumb idiot.
