It's only for ONE showing. I just don't see the big deal. And I'd feel the same way if they had a showing of Thor just for men.

Not a big deal at all. But in this case, the question is can they pull it off. Are there enough female viewer, even for one showing? Everything is calculated to make the most money. A lot of money is made during the first few days of showing. Even for just one theater and not nation wide, theater have to make money too.

I don't know a lot about Alamo, but from what I understand, it's not just a movie house, so I think they could pull it off. Sometimes women need an excuse to go to out like this. It might be fun. Women like hen parties.

Ever since Alamo announced this they have been taking **** from guys who think it's wrong. I don't blame Alamo for giving it back. What I find funny is these guys doing the exact same things they blame the femi-nazis of doing.

Theres no doubt that sexists and trolls are having a blast

They wanted to do something fun as a promotion, not unlike Ladies Nights at clubs years ago when women used to get in for free. Never heard anyone complain about those.

I read some of the comments and I don't see where Alamo was saying anything that bad to commenters. Hell, there are people threatening lawsuits!

I can understand them asking about condition, but now they look for any reason to get you to lower the price.
