Seriously, grats to everyone getting theirs (no sarcasm). But why does it now feel like Urban Collector is the only one having a hard time pulling through? I'm seeing all these other retailers posting here assuring their customers everything is just fine.

I know the argument for ordering direct, but I swear, that week these went online for preorder at retailers, Babydoll was NOT on the GG site for order originally. Sure at some point they listed her, but it was not at the same time UC and some others were making the offering.

I honestly don't know, brother. I also originally placed and order through UC, but got concerned immediately with the widespread panic of allocation talk. I made an order directly the next day to ensure that Babydoll would be in my collection. UC is still trying to work things out and may just come through. Be strong. Hang in there. What other option is there... aside from paying BIG BUCKS?

There are people who are getting extras for customizing. Even expensive and rare items. But I think you are right, flippers live among us... The only Flipper I like is below:

Has there been any word on the status of Gentle Giant's Babydoll Japanese variant statue? Has it been delayed?

I haven't heard anything recently. We are still expecting it to come in this month.

They emailed saying that no other orders were bring filled because their last attempt at securing inventory fell through.

If anyone catches a lead on where I could possibly still get one, shoot me a PM, I just refuse to pay flipper prices on this piece based on the circumstances.

What a silly comment. The reason some people can't "buy theirs" are because people are buying multiples just to make a thousand bucks on her, or because people who have no interest in statues or the movie are buying just to re-sell.
