And some good news, just got my 4th replacement of AMber yesterday and she arrived in perfect condition Long and annoying process to get one that was suitable, but well worth it.

You're like the 3rd collector I heard of who needed to trade in his Amber about 3 or 4 times until he got an undamaged one Hope GG invests a little more time into the quality of their packaging in the future. Congrats on the Amber..She's the runner up lady statue of the year..right behind Madame Hydra

Yeah I never had that kind of issue before, usually one replacement was all it took. However it wasn't a packaging problem, the chipped paint/chipped pants and oil stain look to have happened before packaging, I am surprised I didn't get a broken head.

The broken head was the most common problem...Anyways, its over now. Will you be getting the other SP girls?

After I was done taking the pics, I quickly took BD back inside and wiped all snow off and thoroughly dried BD off.

great risk to the statue, but really awesome pics!

I was very cautious taking her outside but the payoff was worth it.

Oh he!! no. I would be super pissed. Hell, I'm pissed for you. That's really shady. Well, if it were me, I'd tell that shop owner exactly where to shove it, and never shop from them again.

That's totally messed up. You need to submit questions or something on that listing asking if he is selling your statue.

anyway i had a chat with the storemanager yesterday evening and the first thing he told me was that it wasn't my babydoll he was selling but a babydoll he got for a 'good' price on ebay from someone in france and that he put on resale on ebay now with another account to make some profit , i took a quick look at all ended babydoll transactions on ebay the last 3 months but found nothing , when i confronted him with this he admitted it was a lie but told me that he doesn't have to tell me where he gets his stuff so end of discussion for him , last time i ordered something from that _______

He may be smart, but that doesn't mean he's not a greedy _______. Sorry, these kind of people make me sick. You ordered something for you, he ordered with the intention of selling you your item, THEN found out how much they're going for and decided to lie to you about it and take your statue and try to make himself a bunch of extra money. Then he lies AGAIN to you and when you confront him, finally admits his lies but gets an attitude with you. One work, _____*er.

Ultimately the seller could do whatever they want. If they can make 3-4 times the asking price then that's fine but I don't like their practices especially if they are retailers doing it. I had 2 orders that weren't allocated but luckily I got one directly at GG.

Do I like paying premium price on a high demand item? Absolutely not. I would put 50% blame on this allocation fiasco that made people worried about getting it.

Does the seller have a right to sell his purchased product for whatever he wants and make a nice profit? Sure.

But not after he already had the statue sold to Vaako on pre-order. The seller was deceitful with Vaako and his business ethics leave a lot to be desired.

The seller Vaako dealt with outright lied to him and proved to be a petty & greedy basterd.
