What do people feel about the Baby Doll statue? Am I better off going with the SS PF?

it depends what kinda pose you like , if you prefer an action pose i would say go for the SS version

i'm gonna stick with the babydoll GG version but if if SS babydoll turns out as nice as the preview pics i might also add her (regular version)to my collection

I'm also fine with just my GG bd. this piece looks great so I will wait to see on hand pics.

I only have bad iphone pics. I think that her eyes are a bit softer than some of the previous images, or at least what they appeared like. Under her eyes is a little heavy, but the rest seams to be softer.

I do have an issue with her base. She has two screw points, but they aren't lined up properly with the holes on the base. I have to find out if it's a defect with the acrylic base or if her legs are misplaced??? IDK. I managed to attach the tip of hair that broke off and the helmet straps which were no problem.

I did find a lot of details that I never noticed from the production pics. My favorite is her extra magazine under her leg on the opposite side of the shotgun shells. The overall paint and drybrush effects look very nice. And she is pretty heavy duty overall. Her guns are very detailed and were well packed. They look very accurate. The sword is a loose piece which rests in a small notch in her hand which makes me a little nervous since I live in earthquake land.

I like her very much and am ready to get my issues sorted out and the remaining two girls. She has a sort or relaxed pose, or curve to her posture that feels confidant in a way.

She showed up today. The outer box was destroyed. She appears mostly ok though, a tip of her hair broke off and the straps on the helmet had come off, but those are easy fixes. She looks pretty good in person, better than I was expecting. Will have to examine her more closely when I get off work and can make sure nothing else is broken.

I'd love to see pics...sorry about the tip of her hair.I still have to wait for mine to ship through Alter Ego.

i think i'm gonna keep my order , don't see much of abbie cornish in it but since i have already babydoll and amber in my collection and blondie and rocket in preorder it would be stupid not to have the complete set of sucker punch girls

Yea thanks for those. The face of Baby Doll doesn't seem to resemble Emily Browning much. So I think I'm going to stick with the PF. I hope it looks more like her, but I expect it will.

Thanks VS! She's actually just three pieces. The base, her body and the sword. This time she has 2 screws that keep her attached to the base, and the top of the sword has a little square shaped piece that fits perfectly and snug into a hidden notch in her hand. I was amazed at how easy, but how sturdy, the sword went in.
