And the group pic! Sorry for the lesser quality of the group pic, I didn't really have much space to line them all up.

Damn! That group shot is priceless! Rocket and blondie finishes this set up very nicely! Excellent pics! Thanks for posting. Now I need to hunt down 2 more members of this team.
Haha Mila kunis? hmmm someone did not see this movie? :rotfl

Got my Blondie tonight. Sculpt and paint apps do not disappoint!

As mentioned before, her tassels are leather-like and supple, so no chance of snapping off.

So the only problem is having the space to display all of them.

Blondie and Rocket have the biggest bases, and there is no way to display all of them in a single Besta cube without riser.

In the end, I put the two sisters together, but it makes the space for the other 3 kind of cramped. I would welcome suggestions to remedy this.

You could try Sweet Pea and Blondie together, and then Babydoll, Amber and Rocket.

Yes, that's a good suggestion. That would make the most sense space-wise, but I really want to reclaim that extra Besta shelf for the SS Baby Doll.

I was thinking of a small circular riser under Sweet Pea and Rocket, then sticking them in the back corners. We'll see. If that doesn't work, I'm going to try your suggestion.

I would try it. I think out of the smaller based girls (SP, Babydoll and Amber) SP still takes up the most space, so she should work with Blondie to maximize your shelf.

Then, you'll have Rocket and Babydoll with Amber, who IMO takes up the least space by far.

Send them to me. That'll free up a lot of space and you won't have any issues. :wacky :D

Hah, should have expected that suggestion.

I have better pictures coming, but I thought I'd share some pics of the girls to demonstrate what a great job Gentle Giant did on this statues

Amber: Not the best likeness, and by EBAY prices the least popular, but nice and curvy from certain angles, and look at the precise painting detail on the stockings....

Compare this to Sideshow's Psylocke ...

Baby Doll: Not much needs to be said about this one, just look at the EBAY prices. One of the best examples of painting clothing that I've seen so far. And check out those legs!

Sweet Pea: Love the weathering of the leather on this one

IMG_3490-1.jpg

Rocket: Underrated... has elements of all of the above

Classic literature has a quality of showing you something new with every re-reading. These statues are kind of like that -- something new to appreciate every time you look at them.
