I think BBTS got theirs from the 400 slated for Japan (hence the outrageous price). I think ordering directly from Japan would be cheaper.

The 100 slated for the US will be sold exclusively to members of GG's club (at least that is my understanding).

I'm getting a taste of what you spoke about earlier in the thread about GG and their practices.

This may end up being the first and last time I buy a GG statue or bust.

I canceled mine Snoop. I love the film and the characters but this hassle isn't worth it. I used to collect SW busts and this is bringing back a bad taste in my mouth.

Yup. I managed to order mine from BBTS before they sold out.

by the way not many people noticed it but even the regular edition has the gun ( it sits in the holster babydoll is wearing on her right side ) so there isn't much exclusive about it , it's just a cheap trick from GG to double the edition size , people who bought this for 450$ at BBTS are or just have too much money to spill

This will be my first and last purchase from GG. To simply double the the production number with out reason (other than money) makes no sense and futher ruining relations with thier customers. I'M thinking I PO'd an exclusive firguer with a count of 500 only to find out GG can easily make as many more as they like to make more money on this figure. Will GG issue some sort on comment? No. Will they offer some sort of discount to people that PO'd a figure with a set count of 500? No. At least I know I woun't be dealing with them ever again.They lost one customer after just one purchase.

I agree. I have Baby and Amber on PO and think that maybe only Rocket will join them but after those 3 I will stop buying GG. Just double the production number (that just switches her left arm) is something I don't appreciate...

Mao86 if you go back and read some of the earlier post you'd see this is a standard deception with GG. Believe me if the paint apps suck then I am prolly gonna cancel the rest.

Everybody noticed it, we're stoopid not blind I used to do lots of drugs and party a lot when i was younger (blowing sometimes a thousand dollars on a weekend), so yes $450 is a lot for one collectable, but at the very least this is a much safer addiction.

we noticed it
but its sculpted in th holster
this isn't Hot Toys
everything is sculpted in place

we have seen 2 different zbrush sculpts

I'm not sure how much it costs to ship from Japan and I don't think you made a mistake.

Hi everyone, I've been checkin' this thread with my bfriend, the member Ambrosoli, for a while now, just to read about news about it.. So thanks for all the info
I've pre-ordered Bdoll last year from Corner Store Comics, the normal version at that time.
Is a personal opinion, but I prefer that version, I do love the fact that the japan ed. is holding the 1911, but I think the saya shouldn't be lying on the floor, she should be wearing it on her back, like in the movie! If I had the money I would buy it anyways, lol. But with the $235 that i've paid the normal ed., i'm pretty happy. Also, it's my first statue. Yeah, I'm a newbie with the BIG deals, so to speak xD


Can't wait to see some finished product at someone's house, and see what gg will deliver in comparison with what they've showed us. Mine would take like a month to arrive when it starts shipping, so there will be a lot of Bdolls going around here.

Welcome to the board Cereza. Time will tell on this one. We are all hoping that the final production will look like the preproduction shown, keeping our fingers crossed because GG is known for major MAJOR screwups when it comes to paint. So i hope you love her when it arrives.
