Funny how images that work in comics with surrounding art content work but, removed from the context look odd. Sue looks like she is on the bus holding on to an invisible overhead rail. The profile shot of her face is pretty though.

:lol...Hilarious...:lol

I think it turned out great. Pretty face, classic look, sexy, womanly curves without the modern over-the-top-whorish-look-at-me trash Sideshow usually gives us. I like everything but the base. Mine's on Flex. :dance

I have to agree, the pose looks pretty good on paper but put in an a 3D context and it seems a little awkward.

This guy has the right idea on trying to find the Invisible Woman.

will post video preview...

I thought the paint on the Storm Comiquette looked phenominal.. but if it differs from the proto pics, I dont think Ill get Savage SheHulk until I see in hand pics.

I really really really hope the Storm Comiquette looks as good as it did in person at the SDCC.

Um WTF happend?

Is it just me or is the paint completely different?

Mine hasnt shipped yet (.... I think it will soon since my card was charged this afternoon). But if this is any indication as to what I will be receiving, Im not too impressed. The deco / paint looks downgraded, infact it looks like there is no finishing polish on the final product. The costume looks dull, and the detail on the face is not as vibrant as what was displayed at SDCC.

Im worried about my Storm Comiquette as well. I can understand that these statues are inexpensive in comparision but I feel misled if the final product looks completely watered down from the proto pics. WTF happend?

theres absolutely no detail around the eyes - the smokey eye effect is non-existant.

It would help if you had a pic that was in focus of the "in hand" before comparing the face details to the prototype, don't you think?

The lighting must be really bad or they did a switch on the costume paint. Now I am really worried about the Savage She-Hulk.

Well I took this video, and I saw it in person. I did not take any pictures of the actual piece on display since video IMO is a better way to gauge the quality of a piece. In person the "proto" displayed at the Sideshow booth looked fantastic. I dont really care that some people think it looks like a man, because it doesnt in person. The problem I have is the lack of deco / paint on the statue. You can clearly see the paint is not as sophisticated.

Mine will be here tomorrow morning, will post better pics. I hope its just the flash on the dudes camera that made the paint aps look dull.

Received the Sue Storm Comiquette a while back and thought I would share some pics.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with this piece. It is detailed, and the character's personality has been captured. And what a great job on starting off with the invisible effect.

And what would I change about this piece? Only ONE thing: I wish SS had made it 1/4 scale.

Otherwise, great job SS.

Here are some pics. I shot one twice with a slightly different lighting to see the different effects.
