SUN
Just got the Baltar, ya know the pix don't do it justice! WOW. I am amazed at the likeness. You nailed it. Keep me in the loop for future works
Cheers

Thanks Knucklefinger, glad you finally got it (I'm so sorry about the delay )

Hey Les, I've tried some of the old BBI bodies before on the Jim kelly because I didn't like the joint in the middle of the torso on the DML bodies.
You know which BBI bodies I'm talking about, right (the torso is just one piece and it's not overly muscular)
The skin tone for it is just a little light I think.

Hope that helps :)
I'll try and get some more recent works up on here, but to tell you the truth, there haven't been many :google

Sun, no need for an apology, this is art, it takes a little time. Hey, I thought it was pretty fast. Now I have to watch the shows a little more. Ever consider doing the old classic BSG to replace the poochie looking Apollo & Starbuck Majestic put out? Let's face it, Amok are waiting far to long to re-release with new updated likenesses. I'd rather give a person the cash than a faceless corp. Nudge nudge,

These are great! The only problem I have with some of them, are their skin looks a bit too smooth. You might want to just dab your sculpey with a damp sponge to give it a "skin texture" look before you harden it. Great job anyways!

Im with Knuckle on that score would love an Apollo and Starbuck (Hatch & Benedict) to swap out my doll like BSG's

Hey guys,
sorry I have not been able to do much sculpting or come on here often but I finally got one sculpt done in the midst of a busy schedule.

Its a private commission for a feller, Morpheus from Matrix.
I spent around 30 hours on it because the client insisted on some tweaks here and there and they were indeed needed haha.

Summer has "almost" started for me so once I'm hoping to get a bunch done this summer :)

Morpheus looks great! I'm glad to see you're still working on stuff, I've been wondering where you've been lately!

Thanks Les!
About that saxon haha
I haven't started on that ol' saxon yet because of some other commissions I had but it'll come one day, lol:lol

Thanks for the comments guys!

Steve, I actually don't think I'll be doing a john saxon. Especially with all the sculpts i want to get done first haha, but rest assure there will be more sculpts for the public for sure.

This saddens me still. :monkey2

I did want to show you, as I'm not sure I ever had, how great the Ironside you did turned out once painted by DA Josh:

He sits amongst the centerpiece spot of my collection.
I'm still waiting on JK to come back from being painted but I'll show you how much he rocks much quicker than I got around to Ironside, I promise.

Thanks Die, Cocoboloboy, Venomous venom, and Ironman for your comments!
Hey Ironman, haha I know I keep saying I'm gonna make this and that I never get around do I?
WEll, it's my goal this summer to make at least ONE public piece hehe,
glad you still like the Ironside, DA really did do a great job on the paint wow!
and I like the jacket you found too!

Hey everyone,
wooo now that it's the summer, I've been just sitting at home and sculpting a lot. Yeah it's not exactly the healthiest thing to be doing but I love it!

I know I've said before that I'd come out with a public piece again so I'm showing some pics of the Christopher Reeve sculpt that I've been working on this past week.

Wow, I tell you, there's a REASON why there are not that many 1/6 Chris Reeve sculpts out there. Quite a difficult likeness and by golly, I've spent at least 10 hours on the NOSE!
A lot of things I'm not completely happy with but I'm telling myself to really just move on or else this will never get finished. I've actually done this sculpt TWICE before this (for earlier commissions).
This is a portfolio/public piece so I 've spent already 30+ hours.
The scale is a tad bit smaller than the normal 1/6 dragon scale heads I do, because Christopher Reeve has a normal size face but small narrow nose and lips and his body is big in comparison to his head.

Well I'll be adding some hair soon if people can recognize that this sculpt is supposed to be the awesome Christopher Reeve.

that looks amazing with the photoshopped hair!!! i had NO idea how hard he is to sculpt. looking forward to updates and possibly ordering him too.

Holy crap, that Reeve is looking like a masterpiece right now. Can't wait to see with hair. Such a hard likeness to capture.

To bad the Ray is a private deal. I wouldn't mind another, & Il like the quality of the Baltar I got from you

Although not a Superman fan, I'd get the Reeves because my Dad took me to the show as a kid. Memories, that's what this hobby is about

Um, please make the Ray avail, at least in a limited run
