Ankle joints could be sturdier, but beautiful figure. Loving what I'm seeing so far, and I'm going to savor it by not opening everything at once.

@karamazov80 I collect other super7 ultimates lines, and would encourage you to make sure you open everything within BBTS’s return/exchange window. I find about 1 in 8 figures to be seriously defective, but BBTS has always been great with a replacement.

Thanks for the heads up. I have heard about the QC issues with some of those figures, and planned to open the others over the next few days. I will say that the tightness of his knee joints makes me a bit concerned. But I made sure to move all the joints around a little to make sure nothing broke.

I warmed up a cup of water for about 2 minutes in the microwave to loosen my MMPR's T-Rex Zord's ankles. They weren't budging after I took it out of the box and I didn't want to put too much force on them.

Well......after seeing all those great in-hands pics (thank you all who posted)....I caved.
Just could not pass these up.

I do hope wave 4 or 5 will include Serpentor, Shipwreck, Zartan, Tomax/Xamot...so many others too....dammit....gotta get a new mortgage :eek:
:eek::eek:

Imagine when this guy will be an Ultimate 😍

I bet Zartan will be in the next wave. Probably will color change too (and just maybe will get his swamp skier)

There is a "Cobra escape" Reaction set which should feature Zartan/CC/ and Swamp skier releasing soon

Mine are sitting in BBTS' pile of loot so I'll have them soon but man I'm loving the pics so far.

I wonder if they've waited so long to reveal the next wave because it will have a v2 SE or CC and they wanted to give this first set time to ship so that people don't cancel as soon as they see the new versions.

Super 7 has a lot of irons in the fire, in fairness to them. I just hope these are going to sell well enough to warrant many waves. I'm actually considering getting some of the core Simpsons and Thundercat characters in this line, as well, given how great these figures are.

I all in on the Joes. I also picked up the first few waves of Turtles. Now that they are getting deeper into the more obscure characters, i am being more picky.
From what i could tell, the approach they took to the ninja turtles is interesting, because they maintain the aesthetic of the original toys while having more modern articulation. Very different approach with the joes, though other companies have done more cartoon accurate turtles already. Would be nice to see toy colored variants of flint and commando snake eyes down the road.

Not to take away from the great looking Joes; but who makes the Transformers? They look great!
The Megatron is the Takara Masterpiece version, the Starscream is the Deformation Space figure, which I saw was on sale here:

The Optimus is from Transform Element. Both Starscream and Prime have nice, recent masterpiece versions as well, but they are more expensive than the ones in my photos. These companies keep getting better and better at making cartoon accurate Transformers. I love those guys.
