Exactly what all you are saying- this is not 1978 "oh look a FLYING man!!" LOL
Show me something interesting

Well, usually all you need from extras are quick reaction shots, and these are not looking very good. As I said, so far it's not working for me. Still looking forward to the actual "teaser" trailer.
Also, the color grading reminded me of the Wachowski's Speed Racer. That one was also very saturated and it actually looked gorgeous in the cinema.
It's shot by the guy that did The Flash and I think it shows.

People don't just know the context of the scene, but are already starting to hate the movie, the light, the acting of the extras...
I don't think anybody is hating. No hate from me at any rate, as I said, I'm looking forward to the trailer and hoping for it to be good.
But if a trailer (or in this case, a teaser of the teaser trailer) is put out to generate excitement, to get people talking and give them a glimpse of what is to come, a taste of what to expect. The idea is to generate a reaction. And that's what everybody is doing, reacting to it and commenting on it.
By your logic you couldn't make positive comments either, because you can't "judge" it by the merits of the teaser. :huh

Building a lot of hype. I guess they feel good about their product.
You know, I have a feeling this will do well.
There's been a cultural and political shift taking place for the last couple of years. People are swinging back to more conservative values, and I have the feeling this very positive, family friendly Superman will resonate quite well in this burgeoning zeitgeist.
It's a blasphemous comparison, but think Star Wars' unapologetically fun and simple story taking the world by storm after almost a decade of very bleak and cynical cinema.
I love both. Give more The Godfather, Taxi Driver, Network, Dog Day Afternoon; but also give me more Jaws, Star Wars and Rocky.

Best Daily Planet, worst suit.

I don’t have to watch the film to think both of those statements to be true. The images are there, tacking on two hours or whatever doesn’t change that.

These weird overly complicated suit designs take me out of the film I’m watching everytime, why make the S symbol look that displeasing to the eye.

You forgot the color timing and cinematography…

:chase
That doesn’t register for some people unfortunately. What’s a film if it’s not shot with an atmospheric environment in mind? Show some color, show some sophistication. Be creative with every camera shot,
no matter how grand or small. Keep your audience’s eyes on the show.
