And the sound waves would reflect back and propagate away from Superman’s ears given the position of the concrete slab. But more importantly, IF Lois could somehow produce the required force against the resistance of the water to produce sound, the thick concrete would dampen, not amplify it. And that’s what’s between her and Superman, not the chamber of water. Also, it was established in MoS that Superman had to train himself to focus his mind and block out all the extraneous audio inputs he was receiving with his “super hearing”, so he wouldn’t have been listening for a presumably safe Lois in that situation anyway.

Look, at the end of the day this is still a comic book movie so it’s pointless to keep debating how the science would work within it. Let’s just agree to disagree. :duff
There's a small opening at the top for sound to escape, just not her.

That doesn't mean he hasn't trained himself to use it to his advantage.

Fair enough :duff

Yeah exactly, there’ll never be a compelling villain grand enough to put Superman up against, even
The Death of Superman is somewhat void because he comes back.

I really like the potential of a Clark Kent though. I feel like the character is far more than a journalist by day. Unfortunately he’s always overshadowed by the Superman counterpart.

I think audiences just need a really good
Lex Luthor and forget about the rest of his rogues gallery being put to film, they’re just too obscure to spend two hours in a seat for the majority.

The only villain in the entirety of this trailer I noticed was Lex, the rest I couldn’t name if my life depended on it ten fold.

Excess of characters is what’s killed comic book film, time to go back to individual characters that can wrap in a film or two. Not everything needs a trilogy, a universe.

It’s why no one has a single real care for Holland’s Spiderman like the others. He’s never had genuine solo time and by now the damage is done. He’s basically marked as a Tony Stark prodigy rather than the friendly neighborhood Spiderman Rami brought to life.
Holland Spider-Man had potential. If you remember civil war he acted like Spider-Man and acted like a semi experienced hero. In homecoming they dumbed him all the way down to this fumbling kid who could barely take down the vulture but took down falcon and winter soldier easily with minimal effort. Just weird.

Also find it funny how Superman has taken eyes off American politics for the time being. Looks like people went back to discourse sbout superhero movies again the world is healing

Go to Youtube and watch The Batman trailer # 2 ending with the Batman logo and Batman walking upside down walking towards the car with the music swelling.

I want to hug whoever put that together lol

The ending to that trailer captures everything that I love about Batman into that one scene, that is the full essence of what BATMAN means to me personally.

I would love to see something like that with this Superman to sell me on him but not in a dark brooding manner, save that for Batman.

Let's tell him he owes the world everything. It's not his choice, he does it purely out of duty.
Mmm, constant duty.

You missed the point. His parents have always been one of the pillars of how he would act with the kindness of humanity even at his expense. Helping others at some point will feel like a duty. An undeserved heavy burden even. That's the reality of it. It's not about if he owes the world anything or not. This was a "with great power, comes great responsibility" moment in a sense. I get she's saying he can walk away from it but the way it was framed and said it was more like "**** 'em."

Let me tell you real NYC needs a real Batman more than ever and not even just for the subway criminals, he is also needed to stop the corrupt politicians and cops just go read the NY Post today you will see the putrid state of affairs we are in currently in.

Yikes.

If I was Superman today I would say screw hope I would ask Batman who does he need for me to meltdown with my heat vision lol

I know you didn’t but I also know you can’t help yourself if someone something bad about the guy lol
There's a few of us that can't help ourselves...

It's a responsibility whether he engages or not.
In that moment, what parent would just say, tough 5h*t, get on with it?

You don't need Batman for politicians you need Black Widow to scissor squeeze some heads like a grape pip and dump all their offshore accounts to the Internet.

And you missed the point yet again. I said it's how it was said that really didn't reflect that kindness of humanity that's supposed to come from his parents. If it was said in a way "you can walk away from it and it doesn't make you a bad person/ you'll always be a good son to us/ etc." I think that would have been more in line for the Kents. I didn't say it should have been "tough ****, do your job boy or **** 'em. Make your bed and sleep on it."

He makes masterpieces for me that the common man struggles with. I defend him
If these films were so good, they wouldn't need to be "defended" then it's not the topic of MOS, we have to stop being off-topic at some point.
