Yeah that doesn't really sound like a bad thing. Plus I can't imagine many superhero movies working well without the finished visual effects and watching the character actually use his powers, which are kind of the whole point of these movies.

People nowadays complain those movies were in some way bad. Those were good movies idk if people expecting things to be like the current MCU Slop or a Oscar winning film. It's weird you can't please everyone if it's a good film that gets to the core of Superman then it won't be horrible. Smh

Which is why most of these movies are crap

Any good film needs to be focused on building a compelling narrative, FX are just window dressing - they can’t ever be the point otherwise the film is doomed

I still remember how much fun I had watching The Mummy in the theatre. Doesn't need to be Shakespeare, just needs to be a good time.

I actually think Mamoa is a pretty good casting choice for Lobo. He at least looks the part.

Far more suited for Lobo than he was to be Aquabro.
