I still remember how much fun I had watching The Mummy in the theatre. Doesn't need to be Shakespeare, just needs to be a good time.

I heard on one report it was more like the 90s Captain America movie and The Mummy they were comparing it to was the Tom Cruise one.

And I'm sure he'll play it exactly like he does everything else. Although I do think it could be fun watching him and Supergirl play off of each other, and it's at least a better fit than Aquaman.

I actually think Mamoa is a pretty good casting choice for Lobo. He at least looks the part.

Far more suited for Lobo than he was to be Aquabro.

Yeah I think mamoa as Aquaman was terrible casting. But lobo seems like a great fit to me. He will have to be edgier than he is portrayed in commercials and minecraft of course. Channel more of his game of thrones character. I think he would have potential to develop a strong fan following if done correctly.

I'm struggling to see how this movie could be anything like either Mummy movie. It's just such a bizarre comparison. Does Gunn have Superman going on an archaeological expedition or fighting undead creatures or something?

Also … those first two mummy films were absolutely amazing . Don’t care about the dates cgi. Love those movies. They have such charm to them .

I don't want them anywhere near it. I would have been devastated to see Cavill in the new suit.
