I'd still gladly read those old comics over the ones being made today, since they actually knew how to have fun with the superhero concept.

I admit I am not much of a Superman fan. I thought Man of Steel was the best one since the originals.

That trailer did nothing to make me want to see it.

If DC wants to win , all the need to do is put Infinite Crisis on the screen.

That's essentially what the classic Ultraman did. The Crime Syndicate took joy in their cruelty.

That's a big part of why I'm excited for Gunn's vision. Unlike Snyder, he isn't embarrassed about the wacky, over-the-top fun that was always a part of these comics. He likes it and wants us to see more of it. The motley crew he assembled in Suicide Squad and Creature Commandos, and use of Guy Gardner and Krypto in this movie is clear evidence of that. Hopefully we will have a running gag of Jimmy Olson getting bizarre powers and becoming a nuisance to Clark with his watch.
