This movie will be... cute.

If you loved Barbie and Wicked, you'll love Superman.

They're not making this movie for The Dark Knight crowd.

That is absolutely true!

Lobo sounds like another pointless ridiculous and derivative character from the world of comic book gobbly guk.

That's what he always was for me. Never got the hype.

So far, we’ve got a Superman movie coming out, and I think Supergirl is supposed to be next after that. Then, I’m hearing Clayface, Swamp Thing, and maybe Sgt. Rock. Aside from Superman, are any of these bankable characters for headlining their own movies?
Maybe Supergirl? Don’t get me wrong, I like some of these characters, but, Superman aside, I’m wondering if these were really the wisest choices for starting up a new cinematic universe.

Over extending themselves imo. Even if Superman makes a billion, it won't be enough.

Gunn seems to have a thing for the more obscure characters. I think it helps when they are surrounded by the biggest stars in the IP and in the middle of an established successful franchise.
Apparently, his Creature Commandos project got 488K views in its first week compared to Peacemaker's 640K, whilst The Penguin got 5.3m.
Considering how much is riding on this, you'd think the heavy hitters would be up first.

What do you think it will make?
No clue but best guess is definitely less than a billion.

I'm prolly wrong. People are cheering this film without any foresight. As if it's gonna be the next LOTR.

There are Gunn fans every bit as hateful and ridiculous as the Snyder Bros. And they will and are carrying a film that hasn't even released yet on their shoulders.

It's almost political. Gunn fans being liberals that absolutely despise Snyders work. As if his take on grown man characters with manly traits are something to curse.

While Gunn himself looks like a Xbox Nerd with his dyed hair and trying to be a hipster by not embracing main characters unless he's forced to.

And yes, he was FORCED to make a Superman movie by WB - IMO

Let it play out, I say.

Eh I feeel like he’ll do a better job than Snyder anyway. His movies are def better. We have to just see how it plays out. I hope for the best and to me the trailer looks good

Yeah I'm excited to get a new Supergirl movie, but it does seem like a big risk to make it the second film, as it will rely a huge amount on the success of Superman. If that one fails, I doubt many people are going to want to rush out to watch his cousin flying around in a similar outfit and using the same powers.

They should pair her up with other young heroes so that it will sell. Maybe have the teen titans appear?

While he was meant to parody some of the dark characters of the late 80s and early 90s, Lobo always struck me as nonetheless a pretty interesting and original creation, which I suspect is part of his historic appeal. In some ways he was a precursor to other characters, in fact, like Deadpool. Ultra violent, essentially invulnerable, but with a unique, cynical and funny personality. Not motivated to rule the world, but by money and he doesn't seem to care who hires him for what purpose.

I don’t understand lobo. Apparently he’s dc universe deadpool. But sadly dc made Harley more like Deadpool.

Off topic but someone has a creepy fart fetish with Harley at dc and it needs to be addressed.
