Superman Returns 12" Hot toys or Medicom?

I had both, now im looking for a Medi Supes again after selling mine a few months ago. It just looks way cool with the right adjustments.

I will give you that. I like the medicom cape and boots, but the huge, unnaturally large chest kills the medicom for me. Looks like sups is stuffing himself to give him moobs. I love my HT and would choose that.

I prefer the Hot Toys version, I just think he ends up looking more like Superman shrunk down to 1/6. The real shortcoming of the figure is the paint apps on his head. But in the hands of a talented customizer like DarkArtist it looks amazing!

I have both and I'll disagree and say Hot Toys a huge, huge margin. The only advantage of the Medicom is that you can point the toes in the boots. Everything else on the Hot Toys is superior including the head sculpt.

Dave, I agree with you 100%. Along with the Takara Batman, I think he is the best 12" superhero on the market.

The Medicoms lines are too thick and of the wrong color. HT represents the lines better.

They don't look that thick in person thats a huge close up.(i just really like that they're in your face cause i always liked this version of the SR suit and the lines part especially.)Maybe a little too huge but i like that.

i have both. i like the medicom ver...but after swapping the extra hot toys supes head that came with clark, i like the HT ver a bit more.

as much as I love the HT supes, it's a fact that he is pretty short too compared to other HT figures.

I have my HT supes on the stand, and HT rambo with no stand, and HT rambo is still 1/4 inch taller.

Call me crazy, but I prefer the Medicom Superman. I can alway make a custom 'six-pack' slip on, so that he looks alittle more realistic, but other than that, he looks to be a pretty cool figure(Which is why I'm currently looking for one).
