Why would he still be weakened from Kryptonite? The journey from Krypton to Earth takes 2.5 years. Its effects seem to go away almost instantly when the Kryptonite is removed.

Not mention the closer he got to Earth, the yellow sun would make him stronger. But yeah, with the time span it makes absolutely no sense. Maybe that's why they cut it.

A long scene with no dialog of Superman in a space ship flying around parts unknown in a movie that was heavily criticized for being too long and not having enough action. I can't figure why it was cut...

But it is a really cool scene for us fanboys to see, thanks for sharing!

I'm in the 'WOW' boat with this one. The scene impressed me. I'd like to know why it was cut because honestly (and not to sound like most who 'hate'), this could have been the memorable part of the movie (for me anyways.)

The problem with the scene is it implies that it took him years to travel TO Krypton but that his trip home was nearly instant. He wakes up in bed on earth still sleeping off the Kryptonite poisoning.
