This is my best custom Super...
Recently restored, 1/3 scale, my childhood's toy.
It's very special for me...

I hope you all like my super as much as I do!

Might be weird to you, but that head sculpt looks like what Christopher Reeve would have looked like if he were a toddler. It's a really interesting piece, nonetheless.

There are loads of glasses out there if you want better ones.
I have tried a few different kinds.
It depends on what look you want.

my nephew and i are working on this pair ,long way to go but quite happy with them so far

for scale with the sideshow supes

with pants

with hulk ,who was the base body for this guy

and beat up superman

great work bob ,looks spot on ,i did a bit more to them ,but with out any reference material ,just a doomsday and superman brief its a little hard to second guess what the guy were making them for wants them to look like finished
,im leaning to clean and clear comic book style ,not too overly gory and realistic , more supes turns up and underestimates the danger and is damaged and shocked by doomsdays opening salvo ,as to dooms day and his spines spikes protrusions ,i see them as sort of like animals teeth ,dangerous but not too clean lol ,with the gray skin and the white they could look like candles on a cake if im not careful ,so ive tried to grunge them up a little ,next stage will be dry brushing and overall lightening of the main body and bringing the texture and details of the body sculpt ,well thats the plan lol

just got done dry brushing doomsday ,hes getting something like i think looks cinematic and comic book lol,couple of paint washes and i think we will call it done ,not sure about his pants ,ii think he had silver straps or band in the comic ,maybe less is more in this case lol

well finished them up and delivered them this morning to the guy who pays for this stuff lol ,thankfully he was very pleased with them ,next up for him live action tv thor ,spidey and captain america ,should be interesting to say the least lol
