Thanks, it's my own paint job. Ada's Sam is so much easier paint and photograph than her Dean. I cannot get a decent picture of Dean no matter how many I take. Sam is just bad ass though, even with that goofy hair!

Yeah, Dean's necklace is too big (I think it is really about twice as big as it should be), but I sculpted it around a screw-eye to give it enough weight to hang down. In the proper scale, resin isn't heavy enough to make it hang properly and I don't have the tools to cast in metal at the moment.

I also want to do a version 2.0 of his jacket to correct the things I'm not happy with in version 1.0.

Thanks, it's my own paint job. Ada's Sam is so much easier paint and photograph than her Dean. I cannot get a decent picture of Dean no matter how many I take. Sam kicks ass. Great sculpt indeed. My Dean Jacket was a pain but I did mine up right with the proper weathering and dry painting. Your jacket looks fine imo.

I realise that Z has a busy schedule and even though his work is none short of astounding, surely that if this commission were given to another artist we would have seen some results or at least heard back from him. Don't get me wrong, I'm not intentionally trying to insult Z and I have the highest admiration for the high standard of his work and his profesionalism but this is close to becoming ridiculous.

Hmm..I was just wondering about this thread today. Has Z given any kind of updates on the timeline? I don't mind the wait, just would like an update on how soon work could possibly begin.

I'm sure he'll be on it soon enough. He just finished the Ray 1.5 which really wasn't part of his scheduled pieces, then the Snake. He's gotta enjoy life as well. I'm sure there a people in his life he wants to share time with.

People putting pressure on this comission isn't going to get it done faster. So everyone needs to sit tight like the rest of us and stop complaining. At least we got a definate and we know Z will deliver and we won't get hoaxed. That's enough to satisfy me.
