I've always loved that shot! Certain stills and photos alwayws stand out in my mind and that's one... Perhaps it was in one of those photo books? Great sketch too! You really captured Luke's look. Eyes, mouth, jawline, etc.

I drew Squid Head, who I'd put up there as one of the very coolest Jabba denziens.

Nice! Squidhead was actually my first choice but I came across that Luke photo looking for references and, just like you said, it's just one of those images that's glued in there for some reason. I feel the same way about the Biggs/Luke on a cliff photo that was never in the movie. I don't think I realized it's not in the movie until I was a teenager and started looking at things more critically. Those SW storybooks planted seeds!

PS - Squidhead was an awesome vintage figure. Pretty impressive use of hard and soft goods in that scale for the time.

You know, my vintage collection has been on hold since I got down to needing only 10 last 17 figures, which I never had as a kid anyway, but it was so cool to get each and every figure in the mail over the course of last year. It brought back so many awesome memories... But yeah, Squid Head was a great ROTJ figure. I always thought Jedi through POTF was a big leap forward in quality over SW and ESB, though Empire did have some gems like 2-1B and FX-7 amungst others.
