Hi there,

I have a few Sideshow Star Wars figures and I would like to replace the Buck S bodies with Hot Toys TT bodies.

Is it possible for me to swap the headsculpt and clothes from Sideshow to a Hot Toys TT?

If so does anybody know how? I would be ever so grateful. Thanks :)

Just make sure you have the small neck adapter and are using TrueTypes with small wrist pegs. Everything should port over fairly easy. You'll need to glue the Buck heads to the adapters, but it's a fairly easy process.

Also helps to heat up the neck on the Sideshow head with a blow dryer to remove it from the body.

The slim TT works perfectly for Jedi Luke.
And although it's a bit taller than the buck, a regular TT works great for Maul. It improves his articulation immensly, and the poses just look a lot more natural.

I should add that Maul has new boots for better poseability, and Luke has different hands.

^That looks awesome.

I haven't transferred over any SW characters yet, but I just recently transferred SS's Legolas to a normal TT and like Buttmunch said, the clothes were too big, but it's not hard to resize them a bit. If you know somebody that knows even basic sewing they can probably handle it.

Thanks guys for the tips. I'll give it a go and post some pics if I'm successful :)

BTW agonistes86, sweet Maul! You just fired the fuel my man! I'll be swapping all my Buck S with TTs!
