Switching Yavin Luke's head with ANH Luke

I've got a Yavin Luke of my own, but I like his "stock" headsculpt and boots just fine, personally.

I honestly think its the paint. With a re-paint, the farmboy Luke looks MUCH better. However, I really like the SS Stormtrooper head too, but don't like the expression. That is why I'm waiting to see the next Luke released by SS and what it looks like.

I agree. I really dislike the choices of expressions of late ( the EX version of palpy being the exception) i do hope they get away from the "who farted" expressions soon.

ANH Luke is a good sculpt in desperate need of a repaint.

Likewise. It's obvious from those publicity shots that that was intended to be the outfit Luke wore between Episodes IV and V. The Marvel comics, Holiday Special (except the cartoon) etc put him back in his farmboy duds, but the newspaper strip had him in something closer to the "Yavin" outfit.

I've noticed he's being portrayed more in his "Yavin" outfit lately, eg. in the Force Unleashed videogame.

As for the figure, the original Yavin Luke headsculpt is quite nice, it was just spoiled by the paint job (surprise surprise).

Here's my Yavin Luke. He's on a Pro with the Stormtrooper Disguise head sculpt. I agree it's an odd expression, but I like the tones much better than the Farmboy. I also agree a re-paint would do wonders for the Farmboy sculpt.
