Tuesday night's episode 6/5 had a Yoda rehearsal puppet from ESB.
It went for over $20,000.00
They also bought and sold the original Bumble Bee,the beat up version, from Transformers, for $40,000.00.
They bought a pin from Hunger games for $2,000 to be auctioned off later in a Hunger Games auction which will feature the property that District 12 is on,including all the buildings.
They want $1.4 million for it,they might get more at auction.
Some one brought in a fake Hellraiser puzzle box,all the markings were reversed.
This show is pretty addictive.

I just watched that last night, The camera went for $520,000! :thud:

That was nuts. Somebody is the dumbest person in the world paying that much for that camera.. maybe it was George Lucas. :)

While the people on the show get a little too excited about things sometimes (the bumble bee car most iconic movie car in the last 20 years? Guess he never heard of the tumbler.) but the stuff is pretty cool and the stories that go with are interesting.

Bumblebee is more iconic of a car, because it is a car. The Tumbler is a tank. :lol

And it's not even the most well known of the Batmobiles.

Everyone knows who Bumblebee is. They also see that same car driving around everywhere. I know a few people in my town on one with the same stripes.

That's exactly what I thought when the price kept going up. :lol

I can't believe I hadn't heard of this show. Hope I can catch some reruns at least.

Ok, you got me on a technicality on that one. I just think its funny that just about everything they find is the “most important item in history.” I remember when they found the wicked witch of the west’s hat from Wizard of Oz and he said it was the most famous movie prop in history… yeah right… until he saw the ruby slippers (which might actually be the most famous.) I just find their overexcitement funny… of course I’d probably do the same thing if I saw some of those items so I guess I shouldn’t say anything. :)

Dude its a show and it needs production value. He has to boost everything for the people he is trying to sell it for and make them want to sell it.

SIGOURNEY WEAVER'S UNDIES. MOST IMPORTANT ITEM IN HISTORY. :lecture

How many catalogs do they put out a year? every episode starts with a critical "we have no items for the catalog"..
the planet of the apes lawgiver was pretty sweet though in the dudes backyard

Joe makes the flippers on this board look like amateurs. I wished they showed more when they sold all the Stan Winston estate.

I can't be the only one that would love to be an intern at their shop hah. Like some of you I've been following the show since the beginning, and it is awesome to see some of the stuff they find. Though they could use some more Tim Burton related products ;)

the funny thing about the Yoda puppet this past week i was surprised Joe seemed to act like he didn't know who Toby Froud was. Joe seems to know so much about the industry, figured he would have known Wendy and Brian Froud's work and that Toby was their son. But Joe kind of acted like he didn't know who he was :dunno

well, its probably just all for the show...:lol

You said the same thing in 3 different sentences.

Nice little turnaround on that car. Bought it for $22,500 and sold it for 40k to some guy who wanted it as a gift for his kid.

Last season some guy had the original Enik from Land of the Lost ('70s version). But he wouldn't sell it to Joe. I'd love to own that. :monkey2
