Well, annoyingly unless The Berserker Predator can prove he really knows someone on the inside and can clarify whether 'aint happening' means 'not next year' or 'probably not ever' then I shall continue clinging to hope....just because the idea that they would really not make BD versions of T-800 is so ___king unbelievable and ridiculous. I would need to hear a definitive no directly from Hot Toys to really put this to rest in my head. Why should we believe the word of someone who knows someone that said it isn't happening when we couldn't really believe the word of someone who knows someone who said he saw a prototype. Plus TBP could just be taking the p!$$ to laugh at the ensuing

I'm with you. I want to believe this is coming soon...would be my grail...have always wanted a high end BD T800...would be interesting if EB beat HT to a T2 T800...

Well said- haven't we ALL learned RUMOR and I HEARD FROM... dominates these boards?? HT keeps everything close to vest so I doubt they are going to give a straight answer to anything...however hope is there simply because of ONE FACT:

EB T 800 exists

HT isn't going to sit still and let EB take all the aclaim for the ultimate Arnold figure. They just don't like competition that trumps them.

HT needs to wake up and get back to the Terminator license.

Unless there's some random legal issue and they can't make one, then I refuse to accept that they won't otherwise. Clearly the demand is there, and if they're willing to make a lot of secondary figures from other movies, then I have to believe that a BD T-800 is in the works.

As also mentioned, EB has the top Arnold/Terminator collectable out right now IMO, and its going to take a lot to trump it. I know we all want HT to make a BD Arnold, but hey, worse case scenario, if they won't listen maybe Enterbay will...

Speaking of random legal issue, I've often wondered (and gotten into an argument with an idiot about it) if there's something going on with Sideshow that's possibly preventing Hot Toys from continuing the line. T2 is Sideshow's license and the Hot Toys figures were made in partnership with them, right?

It's Enterbay we need to be pushing for the BD t-800. HT will not listen to us but if EB announces they will do one then HT will do one purely out of spite. I want a spite BD t-800

Yeah but EB is no better at continuing lines than HT, in fact so far they're a lot worse. Remember when Jack Bauer came out and everyone wanted more figures from 24? As I recall there was actually some positive response from EB on that but....nothing ever happened.
