I use the Armor All Protectant Wipes on my HT AvP Aliens....but I only use them on them perhaps once every 2-3 months and I don't drench them in it. I don't use them on my ALIENS Alien Warriors since they appear to already have a coat of something

I believe it has helped in keeping the rubber flexible and free from tears.

what did they recommend using on a car instead of AA?

There are tons of products out there that are superior to AA.

I use Zaino products on my cars.

For all the plastic and rubber parts, I use their Z-16 Perfect Tire Gloss. Stuff rocks and all their producs are great and last a very long time.

Not sure if the material Bats is made of would react in any way with car stuff. I'll let someone else try :lol

I just received mine and there are surface cracks along one pectoral that may just be an imperfection when it was molded. Has anyone else seen this? Should I worry they will spread or split later?

The suit is made of very flexible rubber. I don't think clear coat would help in strength or appearance. I think the suit is durable enough, just watch for tearing if you're going nuts with the posing. My issue with the suit is that if you have it out in the open and it collects some dust, it's really hard to clean...it sticks to the rubber. And...will the rubber dry out in 10 years and crack...? It is the nicest of the 3 Batman Begins 1/6 import figures. But it's defiantly one for a display case.

im worried about whether the rubber suit will crack in less than 2 years.. no 10.. in 10 years, ill have 1:1 batman begins suit and a person to dress up in it and do various poses for me in a glass cage:rotfl

i'd ask for a replacement...for the price of this fig it needs to be in perfect condition for me. unless someone can confirm all of them have that same problem.

Definitely not supposed to be there, mine doesn't have anything like it.

I would send it back if I were you.

At nearly 200 with shipping (200+ if you're outside the US) I would send that back as well. We're not talking about a 10 dollar figure here. I would definitely send that back for a replacement. As it is I had to do a double take getting this figure at 166 US prior to shipping and duties. I know at the end of the day this guy could cost me as much as 240 bucks (damn crooks at customs!), and that scares the crap out of me. So it better come mint!

I was just reading all the posts about using Armor-All on toys. FYI: When I first started collecting toys I had this big, black particle board shelving unit to keep my collection in (this like 1995) and when it would get dusty, I would clean it with Armor-All cause it made the black really shine. Fast forward to today and many of the figures I still have from then have this tacky, residue around their feet--mostly my Thundercats, which are made from super-hard plastic. The residue doesn't come off and keep in mind that I never DIRECTLY applied it to my figs--just to the shelf. I think there was some sort of reaction chemically. Just thought y'all should know. Soap and water fellas. :lecture

You're in Canada right? Why didn't you just order it from Toys2.net?

I don't recommend this per se but with a lot of rubber figs coming out (HT Aliens Warrior, etc) I will be using ArmorAll wipes from time to time to preserve it, best time is just before display and just before retuning it to the box for future display...

How about silicone grease? Would that work?
