That can be fixed though. The early figures should show them that they miscalculated the numbers. Drop the production numbers by 1000 and charge an extra 5 bucks. I would give up an extra 5 dollars for a Gandalf, Gimli, etc. I had to cancel my Faramir due to finances. I had planned to pick up the regular version eventually. But, if Sideshow doesn't show us even a glimpse of 1/6 figures at the Con, I am done with their LoTR line completely.

Dusty mentioned the isn't over but I'm with Douglas here. If I don't see anything at the con, I'm done with the LOTR line.

Guys...you know whats really tragic. The new Buffy PF line now has more PF's than the LOTR one.
Now that aint right, and I'm a huge Buffy fan.

nothing in this statement makes me think we'll be that surprized!! I'm glad I haven't opened my 12" figs yet.. and was too late to get into the PF and bust line... I'll be selling things after SDCC it seems. SOB##$%$#$@^!

No new announcements at SDCC will kill both these lines. Too many people will give up and it may not happen right away, but SS will realize these lines have been abandoned and just stop altogether.

I'm dying for a new LOTR PF. I'd trade all my Marvel PF's for a full line of fantastic LOTR pieces.

Yeah, I do think SDCC will be the make or break for the LOTR 12" and PF lines for sure.

Well I don't know what your budget is, but you are most certainly not too late for the PFs. Frodo is easily found below retail and if you can settle for a regular Lurtz you're golden.

Even the Legendary Busts aren't all that difficult to hunt down.
