Do people think it will be rereleased to go with the new R2?

I'd wondered this too. Why not do a TFA version? Onboard would be iffy though since this one had so many deep discounts. No one would pull the trigger if the original MSRP was the entry fee.

Thanks fellas. I sort of instantly had buyer's remorse after getting that backdrop as it was expensive but that quickly eased after turning the lights on and taking some shots.

well some like the Tamashii and then some love sideshow it also depends on the price point. so if you want a good sturdy threepo I would then go with the tamashii if you can afford it. they are also supposed to finally release there version of r2 through Tamashii. the sideshow version is nice but the thumbs and pistons are an issue there is a repair of the thumbs thread some where in here if you want to study up on the sc threepo just have to see which one is right for you.
