i know this is a old post but i been looking for one of these for a while! whats the site you bought it from?

I hope Tamiya will have a 1/6 Batpod. It'll surely be stronger since it has metal parts unlike the Hot Toys version.

I hope Tamiya does the HD "Breakout" so we can use it with the Captain America TWS figures.

playing with the idea of purchasing it too and building my own fat boy, but not so sure about the painting parts. what is your impression of the content? do many parts need to be painted?

Damn! I only just finished painting my Barbie Fatboy Harley not too long ago! Well, even though its not perfect I'm happy with it. Anyway, 150usd for a model kit not including shipping is not really that attractive to me. :dunno

I figured I'd post these too, since I just noticed yours. That Tamiya looks damn fine, but I admit that I would probably never find the time to build it properly. It was hard enough finding the time to repaint the tank and fenders on this.

It's a viable option for people looking for a good quality 'already' built bike! Prices are fluctuating right now because of the holidays, but it can be found very reasonably, too. If you have the time though, that Tamiya is a beauty!

Quite a bit, actually.

It is a very complex kit though, it SEEMS fun to build, but some parts are so tiny (and need to be glued!!) so make sure space and a very quite place is available. This thing will make you go nuts, regardless of skill I think.

I'll post some pics if I decide to go through with this ordeal, lol.

anyone got the bike yet? heres a video on utube vid not mine. theres a 1/4 bike box that i havent seen?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UrhaSXateo[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UrhaSXateo"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UrhaSXateo[/ame]

Wouldn't mind spending a bit more to have this come fully assembled, I just don't have the time to paint and build a set like this myself, looking forward to seeing one of you guys complete this though.

I have occasionally seen what I think is this New Bright model Black, Fat Boy Harley on eBay.. comes with remote control, battery powered sounds and lights, etc.. nor sure its perfectly in scale to a 1/4 T-800 but close (one of the auctions had a pic of the T-800 sitting on it) -

Edit - In fact there are a couple of them on eBay, in the US, atm. :panic:

I see you painted the bike the same way I did :clap
It's too bad the logo had to go. I was really reluctant to paint it over as well. Also, the signal light has always been bothering me, but I never had the courage to snap them off. :lol

I cant build model kits so im stuck with one of those toys from barbie or New bright, wich one is the best?

Would love that 1/4 fatboy but can't seem to find one :(

^ Not too sure about New bright, but I'm really happy with the barbie one. It's pretty affordable on Ebay if you're in living in the states, as most of them that are selling are not willing to ship them out worldwide. I got mine for about 150SGD including shipping.

The only downside is that you have to repaint it yourself.

heres some inner working stuff . bike looks awsome[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYdljYm8lbY"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYdljYm8lbY[/ame]

Thought I'd open the thread again :) Has anyone get any final pics? And how difficult it is to assemble and paint. Just ordered one and I am ****e at both...... But Arnie needs one

video i saw on utube. looks hard to build lol, but i used to buld master grade gundams long ago, so maybey building this bike wont be that much more difficult. right? anyone know?

Really looking forward to some finished photos/videos of this Harley, but very glad I didn't purchase one, myself. Way too complex and skilful for me to do justice to. Wish HT would just release a version for the lazy collector! :D

not as easy as building Gundams…this kit is not a snap kit….almost everything needs to be sanded..painted and glued together..
