Hi All,

I was wondering if Tamiya masking tape can be used directly on fabric for futzing (for better drape, suit fitting, etc).
Will it leave a messy residue if left on for years from your experience?
How does it compare to other tapes in this hobby like fabric tape or toupe tape.

- Thanks

Tamiya tape only leaves residue on uncured glossy paint, and it's the same quality as masking tape. I've never had problems with it leaving residue on plastic but it doesn't adhere that much to cloth or fabric, depending on the base surface actually holding it together.
