Many thanks to Colossus and Dr. Banner for talking me into my Shaak Ti PF purchase. I was awed by the pictures they both had taken in their collection thread and with a little nudging from my fellow boardies I was sucked into making her mine as well.
This peaked my curiousity into the Star Wars world of statues and after watching Skis Darth Malgus intro and pictures I rushed to evilbay to make my second Star Wars purchase! Thank you gentleman as these two statues are absolutely stunning!

Massive congrats James on the 2 new Star Wars additions my friend Good to see new characters in your collection...are you theming your collection as in collecting movie related characters aswell as Marvel and DC? Kind of what i'm doing really with mine. Aswell as Marvel and DC i am also collecting characters from favourite movies of mine such as the Terminator, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Robocop, Predator, etc...

Only Star Wars pieces i have so far are the Droids EX PF and the White Stormtrooper. I would definately recommend getting the droids if you can cos they are awesome - especially R2's light up feature!

Thanks Andy. I used to think I was only going to buy the Marvel and DC lines but that focus has now been blurred as I have starting branching out to Movie and Star Wars stuff.... Collectorcol has me curious about the predator maquette coming soon from SS as well. Mine as well admit it to myself... I'm a statue addict going to try to keep the collection of Star Wars semi limited though. I have Chewy on PO and the Vader in the Mythos line though. You never know what the next purchase may bring..

Haha thanks Ski. I was searching the bay last night trying to get a feel for what Ayla goes for. This damn hobby will be the end of me I swear! So many statues and such limited display room now a days

I'd pick up the Darth Malgus Reg. You should be able to get him through a local retailer. The regular portrait is just as good as the ex and in time I don't think you will ever lose the intial investment if you decide Star Wars just isn't for you. IE Darth Talon...

Thanks Darth. He really is. I've never read a bad comment or review on this guy and I now understand why. He's quite an amazing sculpt and definitely has me hooked for future Sith Lords

Recently got my replacement Galactus and they definitely inspected this one prior to shipment. No more leaning tower of Galactus, oozing glue, defective parts, missing paint, etc. I am extremely happy with how this came out. I definitely got lucky with this replacement. Now the pics

gotta keep up mate that's nothing...got some pics of my War Machine 1:1 bust coming soon plus I can't say too much yet BUT...I've got another Sideshow Iron Man MKIII LSF pretty much secured and ready to ship! Bought it from eBay for a steal with all the shipping boxes and in new condition...should arrive hopefully by the end of the week! Still feel crazy for buying it as I already have it but when you find out how much I paid for it you'll probably understand why! plus I got a cool glass case with plinth being made for my MKII LSF which you might like too

Yea, when my Galactus replacement turned up perfect I was pretty blown away with how I didn't notice the flaws the first one had in terms of paint apps and those glue stains...so happy I got the replacement in the end as it's an awesome piece

Man I just want one. I cancelled my order on the IM LSF because I heard so many people were finding them for significantly less then retail. Figured I would take my chances in the secondary market or just get the new LSF from SS when they put him up for PO. Regardless look forward to seeing what you end up doing with the new one. I'm sure it will be awesome knowing how you roll
