The Premium Format statue on the left looks totally awful in that pic. I know it doesn't look that bad normally. And camera flash and certain lighting tends to wash out polystone statues.

But not really sure how you could look at that pic and determine that the Enterbay one on the right looks worse.

I really think that the SS T2 is one of the best Arnold face sculpts out there. that photo may not be the best but I think it is made to lok better because the EB one looks awful IMO.

I was looking at photos of the EB to see if I could put my finger on why I did not like it. I think it is first the eyes. They are so lifeless, It just really kills the overall sculpt. but even so I think the face or forhead is to broad. I don't know which but it just sort of gives the piece a strange look.

I know many here love it and Like I said I have never seen it in hand so I can't be to critical. But the only really good photos I have seen of this piece have been photos with good lighting effects. Just My opinion. Which is, like I said, Uninformed due to not seeing the piece In hand.

Then have a look on truely awful body! If you have any slightly idea about anatomy you will know what dose it mean.

Looking at the photos again I have to say that the photos of the EB T2 are some of the stangest I have ever seen.


Sometimes it looks great and then other times it looks awful. I don't know if it's the angle in which it is shot or what. But it's even when the same person is taking the photo. One shot looks good and looks like Arnie and then the next shot looks like someone dressed up as arnie for halloween. I know that other pieces can do this but not to the extreme as the EB. These photos I am using are not the best or worst photos I have seen of this piece. But they where two sets of photos each taken by the same person.

NOW PLEASE I AM IN NO WAY BASHING THIS PIECE. I am just commenting how I think it can look great one moment and then bad the next. I think it's the hair and the face could be elongated a bit.


Even with the eyes I have to say He does look awsome in this photo

Never mind the more I look at peoples photos of the EB T2 the better he looks.

I love the T2 PF face sculpt. The body was to small. I use to have this statue but sold it when they announced the T1. T1>>>>T2 for me.

As far the photo you just posted. Well it just looks like EB T2 pants are to high. I see what you are showing me with the heads but the T2 PF never looked off in any way except that he was far to thin.

EB's body is just pretty bad. As the head sculpt...a lot better than HT's for sure.
SST2 with EB's glass...makes EB shame again!

What? The EB body is one of its strong points The proportions are probably the most accurate to T2 Arnie we've ever had.

I just don't quite see the problem. Its not a perfect figure IMO but I wouldn't rank whatever it is you're talking about as one of its flaws.

For me the flaws are:

Hair - too dark, and creates too rounded a silhouette, should be shorter and spikier on crown of his head, not so puffed out

The jaw in profile view is boyish, lacks what I call his 'neck pouch' for want of a better descriptor. I'm not so sure it was really a necessary sacrifice either - if the head and neck had been sculpted together it shouldn't have been a problem. I don't think theres anything movement-wise that the head is capable of to make it worthwhile doing it the way they did it, with the head and neck seperate.

The paint is such that there appears to be shadow where none is really intended by the shapes of his face. For example around his eyes - my fiancee actually commented that he looks like he was crying...and unfortunately I'm inclined to agree.

Thats it for me. I think he's otherwise my ideal T2 figure.

I dont have the EB one mate so I can't say. I was stoked with the T2 one when I got him, I still have him, but the T1 PF is superior.

From what I can tell you do to. Just you seemed to be arguing with me but your arguments seemed to support me so I was confused. I just did not want to offend anyone who likes the EB one better because it is nice, just IMO not as nice as the SS pieces.

Darkmummy - I think it was just me that was confused. With the EB one getting called Sunken face I thought you ment the SS one because I have heard people complain about him being to thin. Same goes for the body. When you posted the body comparison shot I just assumed you were complaining about the SS one because everyone does because he is to thin.

The One on the right is the EB one. That is the one I don't really care for. In that photo he looks really bad IMO.

I prefer the SS PF which is on the left.

it´s so "lovely" to see how you struggle when you see a piece that is IMMENSELY better than the piece you own, than to don´t die of envy you search for the worse, tatty photo of it to convince yourself you piece is better and "the other one" not so good.
