Terminator 2 reference? Help

Hey guys, I' m making a T-800 from T2, an un-battle damaged version, and I couldn't find any good, clear picture reference, especially the outfits, and arnie's head shots. If you'd like to share some pics with me, that'll be really helpful. Thanks a lot

yeah he's right that's what I did when I was starting to put mine together.

go to www.google.com, click on the images tab at the top, and search for terminator...... or arnie.... or t2.... you'll get bazillions of pics

why not buy the SS fig? it's not battle damaged.

I have the SS 800; as a T-fan, I' m not very happy with it. that's why I wanna do my own.

All you really need is the Saturday Toys leather biker outfit and a grey t-shirt. As for the sculpt, if you are not happy with Andy B's sculpt you could always go with something like the Frontline one.

You can always replace the zippers with smaller ones. I've seen some for 1:6 scale that are more accurate. You might also try painting the zippers with a silver paint pen. Makes a big difference.

I'm also making my own. I got the SS head in a trade which I'll be reworking (not much I don't think... maybe the mouth... possibly the hair and definitly the neck and chin, not that it's wrong, I just want it... better.

I'm using the Saturday Toys Biker set which comes with a grey t shirt. The Jacket isnt perfect accurate, but you know what? on a suitable body? It looks like Arnie as the Terminator.

not many people could tell you what jacket he wore exactly, they'd just say a black leather bikers jacket. So this will look good enough.

I can't remember what body I bought, but it was a better match for Arnie's physique in that film than the SS or most of the other bodies out there (all too muscly... and he wasnt in that film)

I'll find out for later though I guess

This hasn't been messed with too much, I just put it together to see how it would look once I'd done the head. Gives you an idea though.

If you're after a good ref pic of the jacket though......

which one? the army coat or the leather jacket?

if it's the leather jacket, i think any of the ones on the market will do.(hot toys, sideshow, 21st century biker, and yes, even the ken harley jacket works well) all this "wrong zipper" talk is a little bit too much for me.

the army jacket can be found in the hasbro vietnam vet memorial set. lonnie from hero heads converted it very nicely for his T1 figure.

don't you think the ears should stick out a little? that's my main gripe about the sculpt. the ears look glued to the sides of his head.

i had photos a while back but lost them. email him for pics, he's usually very good about those requests.

if memory serves me correctly, he airbrushed it grey, and added the chains, leather and studs to it personally. it looked really nice. he sold it on ebay last year for some big bucks, but probably still has the photos.

I remember he sold this one on ebay quite a while back... too bad i lost the bid

he hand painted the designs on the shirt and just added the leather to the collar and on the back and i assume glued the studs on the back.
