Lighting..... angles... working out... 'sucking in'..... physio.... sticking your chest out...... holding your back straight......all these things can make the difference between someone looking bad and looking good. Plus leading up to shooting he would have been working out like hell, even if at this stage in his life he normally doesnt any more. Those pics of him are real... and I can't believe some of you are having trouble believing 'your hero' is old. He's human... he's old... he's had open heart surgery. Some of you guys should look that up, that knocks out anybodys stride, even young people.
The fact is he will have worked out like buggery for T3, and immediately before those shots were filmed, he will have been totally pumped up, and have had physio and everything, skin rubs, massages, the whole lot. It's all about getting the image for that one shot, this is how they do it.
After that.... there is no need for him to keep in the same shape, there's just no need. He's not a bodybuilder any more. He's a normal 60 year old, who.. I'm sorry... is still in better shape than most 60 year olds. And I don't see why you can't accept that.
I'm 34... I run between 2 and 4 miles pretty much every day, and have so far gone from 224 lbs (I really let myself go during the last 7 years or so) down to about 189, with about 14lbs still to go. I'm MUCH fitter than I used to be... I couldnt run more than 100 metres when I first started a few years ago... now I run for 4 or 5 miles.
but... if I dont work out for a few short months (like i didnt over xmas) bam!..... my gut is back and I pile on the pounds. It happens to humans.... Arnie is human and he's old.....
Please realise that.
