From a true expert on SF...

If I'm being honest, not good.

The Neck Pistons are splayed waaaay to wide along with the neck hoses. They should have gone back to Winston and gotten an original casting of the skull with the teeth cast into the head. The originals were vacuum metalized and had painted teeth.

In other words I hate the chicklet teeth look.

The eyes are an improvement, but the red lens is to large, so instead of gluing it on the surface, they hogged it out and inset it making the pupils way to large.

Jaw pistons have been re-worked and not screen accurate.

The neck has been reworked and not screen accurate.

Hose connectors and piston joints are not screen accurate.

It has a T2 skull if it's trying to be T1.

The corrigated line on the neck piston is something I invented fifteen years ago and not screen accurate.

Where the neck piston attached to the skull is not screen accurate.

Piston mount for the back shoulder pistons is not screen accurate.

That's just at a glance, want me to go on.....

Here is that list. Definitely some of these things should have been dealt with.

Thanks for the list. I think the neck piston issue was addressed or they can be adjusted, as the original product pictures showed them as way wider than they were at sdcc or in the assembly video. Other issues are pretty minor to me, but I'm not that obsessive over those details. Sucks for those that really want a 100% accurate T1 endo, but far from a disaster IMO.

If you want an actual T1 this isn't it, but if you just want a huge cool looking endo then nothing wrong with the piece.

I don't think any normal ppl are going to point out the "inaccuracies", I'm still buying it.

I can guess having a tubes connect from one side, through the chest and connect to the opposite side, is not screen accurate. ha :p

Or I guess mechanically accurate...suppose real props could be that way.

I just find it pretty weak to see a hose connect from oneside of the jaw/neck, just snaked through the back of the chest, and connects back to the other side. :ohbfrank:

Which is exactly why SS can be lazy and still make money. They force people to settle for less than they should be getting with no competition(yet anyway).

Exactly. That's why I'm most definitely waiting for the competition to release a more accurate endo bust.

Well, we might see something from Prime1 in the future (maybe not a bust), but Chronicle doesn't have the license to do anything T1.

This is a collection of pictures I've gathered, showing some of the differences between the T1, T2 and Sideshow EndoskulL.
This material, along with detailed descriptions, were sent to Sideshow in August last year. They were very positive about it - but well.. thet decided to change absolutely nothing.

The green details on picture 3 shows all the missing indents in the skull + the line running down the spine.

At that time they encouraged me to keep my order. But when it was getting closer to its release and no info or new pictures were shared, I didn't want to end up with a useless collectible, which I would then have to pay a fortune in import taxes for, and I canceled it. I lost about $100 in canceling-fee and the reward points I had used towards this purchase. An expensive lesson learned.

Awesome work and great info!!!
Now I'm educated!

Great comparsion...yes this bust is nothing for people who wants an accurate Endobust.
I saw this on the first look so I´m happy that I never preordered one.:)

On the contrary i'm very happy i've preordered this bust and really can't wait to receive it.. don't get me wrong, i respect your point of view but frankly all this fussiness is not for me.. i will enjoy my bust, no doubt about it: it's a great looking collectible, it's huge and eye catching and surely it will be the centerpiece of my collection.. i'm sure that none of my friends will take the magnifying glass trying to find those little incongruities..

Totally with you on that. I look at it, and think "...Terminator..". That's enough for me.

That is all well and good, but I and many others have multiple busts and would like them to all look like their supposed to. This does not fill the T1 empty spot unfortunately, those minor details add up to make it look very different.
