I think his post makes it clear that he though it was a straight 10.

His loss...he could be beautiful, like me. :monkey2

Perfect. :lol

:lol

If I can con my fiancée into it. She's refusing to go because of the bad word-of-mouth. And there's no way I'm sitting thru Magic Mike 2 in exchange for some Genisys crap. That's liked getting boned twice in the naughty place.

1. Congrats on getting engaged, man. :duff

2. Kudos on spelling fiancée correctly. You even got the accent and everything.

His shirt was all blue...but the interviewer just saw Genissyss.

Just imagining what DiFabio's screening was like:

I just asked jye's wife why he isn't posting a full review of the film and she said that after they got home from seeing it he had to go to the bathroom to "take care of some things" whatever that means.

Thanks, but I've been engaged for 7 years. :lol Sometimes I say wife just because its easier than spelling fiancée wrong.

I also find your new sig as... upsetting as your Katy Perry sig. Excuse me, I'll be back in a moment.

Saw it. I had low expectations, but after really enjoying Jurassic World I thought I'd feel the same about this movie. I did not. Worst film in the franchise IMO, yes, even including T2. I liked seeing Arnie on screen, but he was nothing but a parody in this. There was no sense of urgency or danger with all of the joking and cheesy dialogue. I think Jai Courtney gave a good performance, he just wasn't written well. A lot of the dialogue he had were things I would never expect Kyle Reese to say.

Kyle Reese in T1 felt like he didn't belong in that time. He was a stranger. An alien. He was so out of touch with that world, and constantly focused on survival. He didn't joke around. He didn't whine. Everything was serious business to him and he tried to always stay a step ahead of his enemy. Genisys' Kyle Reese was the complete opposite of this. He was like some random, young, funny military guy who was experiencing the Terminators/Skynet for the first time.

Basically you didn't get the impression that he had been to hell and back like Biehn's Kyle Reese did.

Canon, shmanon............ It's not like if you enjoy Genisys, and put the blu-ray on your shelf, that some uniformed Canon Police are going to show up and take a mug shot of you and report you for liking the "wrong" combination of films. ;).

*Bane voice* I am the Canon Police.

Unlike the movie, I will keep it simple.

I agree with DiFabio, I don't know what the franchise wants to convey anymore.

There were enough inconsistencies to fill the grand canyon.

Terminator rules of physics and engagement kept changing and being altered that I finally just threw my hands up in the air.

The craziest part is that Jai whatever his name is wasn't as atrocious as I was expecting him to be.

If people thought AOU was too convoluted wait until they see this.

Did you like the first 45 minutes jye or none of it at all?

Do you know now why I cried at Pops' final line in the time field chamber, even if it's something you can never do?

They even redid the garbage truck guy. :lol

But that guy was awesome at matching the speech of the original guy. Punks, "did you see a bright light" bum, all acted totally different buy garbage truck guy was spot on. :lol

But they redid everything because they decided they shouldn't use any of Cameron's stock footage. So even simple things that would have been easy to just use old footage for they reshot just so that whatever they did was true to this film. Cameron's footage gets to remain untouched for all you fuddy duddy non-seals.

Just got out. I liked it. Way better than I thought it was going to be and the connections to the first films are pretty cool.

I was most shocked in the fact that I didn't absolutely hate Jai Courtney as Reese because he's been pretty much atrocious in everything else I've seen him in.

All in all, this was a pretty fun film and is MILES better than T3 and TS. I can't even watch those other two now. I'd say this takes the bronze medal for Terminator films for me.

My endo purchase approves :rock

And no, purchasing the endo did not have any influence on my feelings whatsoever.

edit: I tried to shed a tear like Khev, but I must've had a case of the dry eyes there :lol

If I had to pick the most entertaining part it would be the first 45 minutes.

I was surprised twice in this movie, even after all those trailers:

JK Simmons role and Hybrid Arnold

Nice boobs on Sarah, time displacement was kind to her cleavage. :lol

Yep, the first 45 minutes is one solid block of entertainment for me. Though my two favorite individual scenes are:

Pops and Reese loading the magazines while Sarah listens to the Ramones. Cool 80's music, humorous back and forth between new boyfriend and "dad," then totally blindsides you with him spilling the bullets and losing control of his hand. I felt for Arnold and Pops in that moment. I thought, "come on man, just hang in there a little longer."

And then Pops' final command to Reese. Was NOT expecting that. That moment really did get to me.

The rest (everything between 1984 and the final showdown) was decent enough and entertaining enough with JK Simmons and the back and forth between Sarah, Pops, and Reese, all the talk of mating and human pair bonding, lol, just entertaining enough to make me forgive all the flaws. And there were many, but to me it's like listing the flaws of Thunderdome or Jedi. There's a ton, too many for even a sentence or two, but still an enjoyable all around flick with enough "cool" stuff to make it worth while.

So yeah, just got confirmation that my Seal membership badge should be arriving within 2-3 business days.

The cgi of

Arnold's half face

was atrocious. :lol

Some Endo's go down with a BB Gun while others can survive severe punishment.

I absolutely hated John Connor "new" Terminator
