if you have been to the t2 3d show at universal studios then you will know what the future war and skynet was meant to look like straight from camerons mind..mcg should take a good hard look at that and see what an epic faliure his film is

T3 better, Really??????
Oh well, if you hate T3 and TS that much you can always watch T2 with this ending and wipe your mind clear of them

Where were all the skulls on the ground? All the blown up, wrecked cars? This movie did not look post apocalyptic to me at all.

That's something i've had a problem with since the first shots of Salvation were released. Camerons vision and T3 had the skulls, wrecks and looked dark, depressing and very apocalyptic where as TS has bright clear skys and doesn't make post Judgement day look all that bad.

The lack of lazers and even the uniforms worn by the resistance made it even more removed from what Cameron's vision was ... something more that i'm really disappointed with.

On a positive note though, it was only 2018 and not that long after Judgement Day. I'm hoping T5 will introduce more futuristic weaponry and bridge the gap from where Salvation was to something like what Cameron had in mind.

And as for the lack of any humour at all, it really hurt the tone. Ok so the world has been destroyed but people would still joke around. Thats what being human is all about. The humans in this movie were more robotic than the T-600.

Its called T3 and was the main reason its hated so much. I found the film to be a good 8/10, nothing great and nothing specifically memorable. The problem with some of you guys is, you continue to try comparing it to T1 and T2. Its not, get ^^^^ing over it already.

OMG! Lololol! Are you serious?!? Good judgment call on not releasing that ending!! That's pretty bad =D

I agree, T3 took the humour too far, almost spoofish. But TS felt way too serious for its own good. It just wasn't fun. I caught the ending of T3 recently where you see the T-850 skull amongst all the ashes. That was cool

just saw TS and was really pleased. it was a really good addition to the Terminator films. much better than T3 imo. look forward to the dvd release. :rock

Yeah but lets go back to the "future war scenes" in T1, where, based on what we see is there any humor? From what Cameron gave us it was a VERY depressing time where there was literally no smiling or humor whatsoever. So TS's tone was very accurate imo.

And yes the ending of T3 was very very cool but 10 mins doesn't make a movie even half decent by any means.

You're right they don't, but those last 10 minutes were better than all of TS.

I think all the skulls, pulse rifles, and terminators will arrive in the next installment or were suppose to...John is suppose to die in what 2032? I'd call as the war goes on it gets darker, and more post-apocalyptic.

Dude as a T2 fanatic you should hate everything about T3, if I were a mediocre Terminator fan I would have walked out of the theatre totally missinformed. T3 RUINED where T2 left off so it was not better than TS.

TS atleast made similar references to the past first 2 films. T3 took a respectible ending (T2) and butchered it and then some. A cool ending still doesn't make it so.

In Camerons films a shotgun blast can knock Arnold on his ass. In T3 he "weighs a ton"????? Although i'm sure a 100% solid metal robot probably "would" have such an effect (weight) it doesn't flow with Jim Camerons films.

TS has bad acting, a weak story and a sub-dorkish director BUT it WAS MUCH better than T3.

yeah the bit i liked the most in ts was when john shouty connor survived an atomic blast by getting inside a fridge!!!it was the greatest!!!!.......sorry i keep getting these two modern day classics mixed up!!

Wow, T2Fanatic is really grasping at straws now =/ ...

Actually his frustrated and increasingly immature arguments remind of someone...

Don't get me wrong i'm the biggest Terminator not out there but in T-2 the T-1000 has no endo or chip to control its brain thats not real how did it function? no endo no brain chip no power cell?? in T-3 they got it right with an endo and chip along with power cells for the T-X.

If anyone can prove to me how the T-1000 manages without the above please prove me wrong but its something thats always botherd me since i saw the film back in the early 90's...

There are two more movies planned. It's "early" in the war.
