When I started working on tonight's review, I thought it would be a quick one. How foolish I was. John Connor and the T-600 from Hot Toys are another example of their attention to detail, and their exceptional quality across the board. I've also included a TON of photos with this review, so be prepared for it to take a minute to load.

You can find the review at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

Nice reviews and great gallery of shots, Michael. I've got Connor on the way and hopefully someday I'll pick up one of those Endos.

The Connor figure looks amazing!

Thanks for the great review Michael. Ive got my JC coming on Wednesday. Your review will make the wait even longer.

Ooooh, both reviewed at once! And it seems you really liked them! They almost make up for the movie....almost.

sweet reviews! i have to admit i am very impressed that mwc even attempted to buckle the top strap on the t-600's backpack. i just left it unbuckled across the front as it looked pretty good without that final connection.

mwc, fyi - i thought T:S was a good watch. it is one movie i am looking forward to watching again on dvd.

Yo Mike, the other two magazines are supposed to be on his lower left, ribcage area. You get two additional pouches to hook em on the harness.

Btw great photos and review mate!

Cheers.

indeed - JC's left or on your right looking at him.

Nice review Michael, but I find it interesting that nowhere in there do you mention the "magic tape" Hot Toys is using over the past year or so on figures. Maybe you're having better luck with your Connor, but I find this velcro to be cheap and dysfunctional, where you seem to often point out such things, I'm surprised to see it not mentioned. I also see you don't have his arm wrapping for his knife on in your photos, possibly because you couldn't get it on because of issues with the velcro.

This is like the 50th time you've mentioned that magic tape...you really hate that stuff huh? Admittedly it is a bit crappy, but for display purposes it does its job. I think you're struggling with it because you handle the figures a lot for your photo work right? I can imagine seeing a jacket or pocket pop open again and again would be annoying :sick

Some of the velcro is a little weaker, since it's so thin. I didn't have any major issues with it though. I mentioned in the review (and it's obvious in the photos) that I put the knife on his lower right side of the rigging, not on his arm. I bet it would have a harder time staying in place on one of his arms, but not seeing the movie, I went with what worked best rather than what might have been screen accurate.

I hate you Michael, and i'm sure you hear that all the time...

I was ignoring alot of stuff right now, trying to save some money, and even though there was a few different things i coulda tried to pick up i was stayin strong!

Then i read your review for Connor who i was already weak about, and then i see that awesome price at alter ego and dammit all now i went and bought him!

GAH!

This is why i can't save money... damn you and your fine reviews... :p

I'm thinking the same thing about the T-600.

My John Connor didn't even come with "magic tape" where do you use it? On the right forearm I take it? To secure the knife? Anyways great review Michael, and you'll be more impressed with the figures/designs than you will with the film. :monkey3

HAHaHaha!! are people not getting this?..its just an instruction for how to secure the velcro..its not like a separate thing that came with the figure, you apply.

Yea, MF is just making a remark about the thin velcro used to hold most of the flaps shut on John. I know of only one spot on him where it's used to actually hold something in place, and that's if you wrap the bag with knife around one of his arms.

I can see where the confusion would come from though, because Billy really did have tape!
