Ok, mine hardly can compare with the masters versions but, nonetheless, here they are:

There has to be a story behind this one!
Love this guy! :D

He's an example of what a parts bin is for. :monkey5
He has the 21st Misfits body and boots, Hasbro T2 outfit and a Mattel Max Steel Psycho head. I was looking to make a Terminator that I hadn't already seen somebody else attempt.
Hey, BTW, which jacket do you guys think works best for Reese?

That's using your fodder! :D

Jackets? Well, I like the frumpy look and feel (and color) of the first one up top, but the bottom one is more screen accurate, if a tad crisp looking.

I just posted this in my custom thread, but it seems appropriate for here too, so I'll copy and paste it

These aren't the best pics, but it's just a few 'where I'm up to so far' pics of my Arnie custom. I'll go through it in the usual detail once I'm finished with it, but basically I cut the neck clean off from the head, and resculpted a new neck allowing the position of the head to be more 'Arnie like'. Also with more shape/definition to it.

The main thing with the SS sculpt wasnt the face at all, but the positioning of the head. It made his chin area look too thin... and the top of his head look too wide. Arnie has always had a very prominent jaw, and the angle of the SS head took away from that for me.

other than that I'm working on the corners of the mouth, sculpting the ears to not be so flat, reducing the frown lines, and making the neck at the back go under his hairline with more human proportions.

I can't wait to have this up and painted in my display (custom body.... biker set of leathers, not the SS figure)

anyway.... here's the pics for today

D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that looks amazing man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very cool DSF. I'm sure some will mind, but that trait could be seen in the ordering images on the SSC site, so there shouldn't be any surprises.

In fact, people have no right to gripe about it cuz it was there clear as day when ordering came up so if they don't give products they order a thorough review in pictures then oh well, looks like SSC shipped out just what the proto pics showed they would.

Yes, but who would have thought that this is a paint application (if so!) and not just a 'trick of the light'? I sure didn't pay to much attention to it, since I though it was some kind of odd reflection of the studio lights. But apparently it's there always. And it does look good too... in that picture! Perhaps it's some kind of transparent paint application? I don't mind actually, as long as it's done subtle: it should not demand to much attention. I've seen pictures taken in bright light where it is really very 'in your face', and with a more tempered light, it almost seams natural. Like chrome exposed to intense heat is suppose to look. I guess I'll know for sure if I like it or not, once I have opened the box! I got a processing mail for this piece today, and I can't wait to get it! Should be here in little under a month or so! Rainbow or not, from all the Endo Skulls I've seen in person so far, this one is the best!

:monkey3 Just in case, does anybody know how to get rid of transparent paint on a (Adreno)chrome finish... :D

one thing that makes the rainbow effect not so bad is that it was confirmed the original props from the movie had the same painted on effect as well

i agree with Alice on this one. when i saw the proto pics, it looked like a reflection as well. and that was ok. in that particular lighting. but on the shelf all the time? I"m not so sure... must see actual pics. too bad they didn't have one on display at SDCC.

one thing that makes the rainbow effect not so bad is that it was confirmed the original props from the movie had the same painted on effect as well

the thing about that is that the original props were painted in a way so that the lighting used in the movie would work for the prop. They don't look the same in normal light that we would display are collectibles under. So i always take screen accurate with a grain of salt.

Hey guys, haven' t been here for a while. anyway, I made a few changes on my arnie head today, let me know what cha guys think. Thanks:cool:

Jeez that looks life like man! Did you use the Sideshow T2 head sculpt? Looks really good anyway.

Thanks! I didn' t use the SS arnie head; it looks fine, but as a T-fan, I want something better, so Iwent ahead and did my own. I' m still looking for a nice accurate jacket set to finish this guy.:blissy:blissy:blissy

Wow you did it yourself? Nice work! Maybe you can do a Terminator I head sculpt for me if I ever get a Hot Toys battle damage T-800. I don't like the head sculpt it comes with, would you do this one? Or have you already.

Gotta admit that I'm not a huge fan of these 1/6 scale figures, but some of the efforts on here are amazing!

you are a god Darren.

lol, I'm really not.

But thanks anyway  (and you too Pitu)

I love that head that Imaresqd1 has done. I love the paint job on it. Possibly slightly blushed... like he's been out for a run, but damn... it's SO realistic. I love it. And the sculpt if it's original is simply astounding. I feel like the hair seems a little too neat, or short though.... that's the only thing that detracts from it for me.

Have you got any side shots of this? I'd love to see more of it. And what else have you done Mr. Talented Man you
