I got my Sarah Connor SS Exclusive today. I was very shy toward the figure for the longest time. I got the chance to pick up this exclusive opener for a great price and I'm glad I did!

I haven't reviewed this entire thread so it may already have been talked about but does anyone know why Hot Toys did not make T2 characters other than the endoskeleton? Could they still do so?

Well , how much better can you do Sarah Connor or the T-1000. I think they did the Endoskeleton because it looks amazingly detailed. Not much to work with in Sarah or the T-1000. Another reason is I don't think they can get the rights to make them in the actors likeness. Just look at the HT Terminator 1 Battle Damaged Arnold. They definitely didn't have the right to Arnolds likeness. Do yourself a favor and get the SS figures and get a custom headsculpt from Les Walker OR DarkArtist81. Then you will have something you can display proudly!!

Okay, here's the choice.

I sold some of my airsoft crap and I got £100 to waste, I mean invest.

Do I get the HT Kyle Reese OR do I get Sideshow Arnie T-800 and T-1000?

The Reese works out at about £98 with p&p, and both sideshow terminators work out about the same.
Mostly all of my figures are HT so I know the quality on Reese will be excellent, but I need some advice over the sideshow figures. Are they well priced for £40 each?
I 'm getting a HT Endoskeleton soon, so I really want some more Terminator stuff to go with it.

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.
(I probably could stretch to get Reese and ONE of the sideshow figures).

Haha! I'm glad someone on the board got it! I put in a waitlist order in hopes that they come across another one. I really can't find one available on any other site though.

Out of curiosity, did they ship it, or is it backordered like it said?

Honestly, the Sideshow figures are a bit on the weak side. I'm not sure they're worth £40 ($80) apiece. Of course, I'm not sure Kyle Reese is worth £98 ($200) either, but it's a better all-around figure. That said, it's not nearly as iconic as the the other characters, since he was only on screen in that outfit for a short period of time.

Of course I'm basing all of this on my own perspective. I only paid $110 for Reese, and about $40-$50 for the Sideshow terminators.

Actually I already have the SS figures, non-exclusive versions I found at retail. They're good after you pad out the bodies underneath the clothing but based on the Hot Toys T1 figures I'd say hot toys would have done a superior job on the outfits, both in the detail and the way they fit. I'd still buy Hot toys versions. How easy is it to get these custom headsculpts? Whats the process? I've seen, probably somewhere in this thread, Arnie and Robert patrick headsculpts that look absolutely faultless.

I am very very happy I ordered this , now this is why sideshow is the best !!!

I repainted my hot toys terminator arnie head sculpt before ( not in the pics ) to try and make it look a little better , its not possible . I need to contact someone about getting a custom in a few days.
