It's funny because I would say the Vikes are my second team. Was a huge Cunningham fan and kinda followed him when he went there in the 90's. That being said, the Eagles usually shut down big time running backs. Peterson didn't do caca the last time we played them. Eagles for the win. Anyone who says otherwise can send me a PM for a friendly wager. :lecture

Philly should win...but remember how many times have the eagles let us down

What Eagles team is going to show up this week?

The one that got their ***** handed to them in Baltimore?
The one that beat the Giants?
The one that lost to the pathetic Redskins?
The one that destroyed Dallas?

Sounds like their due for another poor performance. Taking the Viks in my pool but I don't think I'd be surprised by any team losing except Baltimore this week.

All too true! They have the talent. Hell Dallas had the talent. Although I think there can be a thing as too much talent. Ego's get in the way and it kills the team performance IMO. It would be interesting to see a basketball team full of Iversons to see if it could play as a team. Same case with Dallas. Too many STARS!

First off, let me say that I have been a Cowboys fan since the Danny White era.

Having said that, I cannot stand the direction this team is going. Jerry Jones is worried about talent, not team. He pays enormous sums of money to thugs, miscreants, whiners, and undrafted QB's. Throwing the ball underhanded or scrambling around like a mad man makes for a good highlight reel, but it does not win Championships.

Congrats to the Eagles and their fans. The Eagles played like they had a shot at the Playoffs. The Cowboys played gutless and with no heart.

They do not have too much talent. Their only problem is TO. He is a cancer and has proven it on every team he's ever been on. If they unloaded him, they would be a playoff team. They have a talented group of receivers w/o TO in Williams, Crayton, and Witten.

I would love to have Witten on my team. The flea flicker play was an amazing job. Even more amazing that it wasn't planned and he had the sense to give it a good throw. It was just about the only thing they did right the whole game.

Quoted for truth. Dallas has two cancers, namely TO and Pacman. Boot those two, along with all of their luggage, and you have a playoff team.

Loki, you and I are in the same boat. Ravens are scary as hell in the post-season. Whacko for Flacco!!!

By the way, regarding philly fans, I agree that they are the most passionate fans in the country...as well as the most (by and large) ignorant and dangerous (Bad Moon excluded). I say this as a die-hard Flyer fan from back in the days of Pelle Eklund, Tim Kerr, Dave Poulin and expecially Ron Hextall. They have done numerous boneheaded acts over the years, such as throwing batteries at JD Drew, and I think they even booed Santa Claus...

and I think they even booed Santa Claus...

They actually threw snowballs. One that happened to hit him also contained a battery. :horror

Still to this day if it snows in December they opt out of having Santa present. :lecture
