UPS is just as bad. Let something you insure break and watch them give you the middle finger and deny your claim. ALL of the major shipping compained are pretty bad when it comes to their customer service. It really just depeneds on the person you end up "working with". There are good people and bad people at all compaines.

i always hated and always will hate fed-ex. do you know how many time i have called sick to work just to stay home and wait for them and then finding out they are not comming because they state nobody was home for the delivery. I was home the whole time. all they had to do is ring the door bell(the little white botton to the side of the door) but dont they have to leave a little slip on the door? never got one. seems like they never bothered comming in the first place. they just decided that they did so much work for the day they were not even going to bother to try to deliver it. "let me just put here that i tried t deliver it but nobody was home :lol:lol:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl"
pretty sure thats what they do, even the laughing part.:censored:censored:censored man i hate them so much.

...Try getting Fed Ex to deliver after 4:00...

FedEx always delivers at like 10am here (unless I'm off that day and waiting for them) so I have to leave work to get the package that they don't even attempt to hide. UPS always delivers after 4pm and if I'm not home they hide the package so it isn't so obvious to people passing by the house.

FedEx has evening deliveries; it is an option when shipping via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery. You just need to request the shipper check the option for evening delivery.

It all depends on where you live. In my area, I swear BY FedEx, not at them, whereas, I do swear AT UPS!!!

fed ex are ....they are the worst and their package always get caught at the customs when shipping is international, therefore I always end up paying big $$$ for customs because of them..Never happened with UPS or USPS.

Which is so weird because I had to file a claim with UPS and got my money back in full in three weeks. They even sent the package back to me and I resold it :monkey3

Cummins again following me !!!!

Cummmmminnnsssssssss !!!

its kinda funny cause I have different reactions depending on the circumstances when they dont follow sig procedure.

Ive had times when they dropped stuff off and even though I had no issues I thought "slack ***** didnt bother to get the sig. Glad nothing happened"

then other times "Dammit! I missed the FedEx delivery guy today, now I have to freakin wait and try to catch him again ....... oh wait, they left it anyway .. sweet"

Yeah, I have seen other people get their claims, but they really butt raped me. Like I said though I really think it all depends on WHO you get at any company. Some peole are really helpful and good to work with and others are just dicks.

That is strange. I have the opposite problem with UPS. I hate UPS when it comes to customs fees. Their prices are ridiculous. The best is USPS. They just comes through Canada Post and you pay $5 for customs. The SIM statue came through Fedex and I was charged $10 for customs which is great compared to UPS.

When you try to have something shipped UPS, they want to do the packaging themselves, in order to insure the item. Doesn't matter if you tell them it's packed very well; they need to inspect for damage prior to ship. When it comes time to move some of the bigger stuff, I probably will have to go with UPS or Fed Ex. But I'm going to feel a little silly walking into the UPS store, unpacking some "toy" statue, have UPS verify the packaging is good, and then reseal and box it up. Plus they want to charge for this "service." And I wouldn't feel comfortable with some unknowing UPS worker carelessly removing the statue int he first place.

I let their authorized center pack it. They still told me to F off.

I don't know why I'm getting anything delivered Fed Ex since I called SS and asked them to ship via UPS over a year ago. Looks like I need to call CS again.

Same thing happened to me. I'm supposed to have UPS deliver all of my packages but SS still ships my packages via FED EX sometimes.

I actually wish my FedEx driver would leave my packages. FedEx always seems to deliver my packages right after I leave so I always miss the driver.

I've enver had any problems with UPS. I've had 3 claims with them over the last 10 years and I always got my money back.

I don't have problems with Fedex or UPS where I live. It is good to be awesome.

Ok, after singing the praises of UPS, I'm a bit irritated with them tonight! I had something shipped to me via UPS 2nd Day Air last Thursday. It should have arrived here today. I checked the tracking and it left Denver last night at 7:00pm. That's only 4 hours from me. Since then, there hasn't been any tracking activity and it's already 8 so they won't deliver today. :monkey4

Yeah, I've not had an issue with Fed-Ex or UPS on my collectibles items. Now, today the box my UNC hat came in was just beat to hell so its really the first time I've seen one beat to heck. The hat was fine though so like Bannister my awesomeness is still intact.

They are great...and consistent!

Every delivery from Sideshow was either late or water damaged!!

My first delivery was fantastic! It only took 9 days to find me...and I live all the way around the world (+ 1 state) from Sideshow!! -The trip from California to Arizona took a mere 9 days! I helped to get this done so fast by entering my address, location and special directions to my house into their database. Funny though; they said they couldn't find my zipcode...even though I live half a mile from one of their regular pickup points!!

The second was even better, I had a job out of town and had to be away for several weeks...not only did they include extra water damage (the mud-caked box was almost unrecognizable as a box) but they also included free exclusive versions of the figures that included the live bugs!! All this and it was at the wrong address...for no extra charge!! It only took me about a month to finally retrieve that package.

My last Sideshow package was just one figure so they only included the water damage.

Any wonder I don't collect polystone and don't like to spend $100's on figures???

The most recent package was not from Sideshow, but was handled with the utmost care. They managed to break the item without even damaging the package inside the shipping box!

What are you whining about?

"When it positively, absolutely has to get somewhere overnight...use someone else"

I sometimes get the jitters when I get a tracking e-mail from SSC or UPS.
Everytime I track my package it sits in a warehouse over the weekend once it leaves SSC. I can only imagine my package being kicked around or stepped on as a makeshift step ladder. When it comes to 1/6 figures, SSC doesn't provide much protection while shipping, just a sheet of bubble wrap then into a box about 1 inch bigger than the figures orignal packaging. Luckily the figures aren't broken but sometimes the corners of the figures packaging is crushed.
One time it was pouring out and the UPS guy wrapped my box in a plastic bag, it's a shame he didn't seal the bag by tying it or anything.Good thing I was home, the thing would have been drenched!
When Fed Ex delivered my Elizabeth Swann figure from Hottoys it came fast and in perfect condition. My twin brothers Black Cat also came in a timely fashion and without any damage.
Both times I was asked to sign I knew it wasn't going to a neighbors house then.

I also have no problems with Fed Ex and UPS, probably because I don't order as much as some of you guys. Or it could be because of my awesomeness.
